I have rang the ACO (in early feb)and all the official campsites are full. Unfortunatly I have a £380 ferry ticket for a caravan already booked! Are there other options, such as going with a club or any unofficial campsite I could book? Any help or links would be appreciated.

Not always !

It depends when you get there, later than Thursday pm and you'd really be pushing your luck. Spaces fill up pretty quick. Blue's had corporate bookings for a few years so they give you the annexe site. There is a camp site in Ecommy (sp ?) a few km to the south.

You might want to try calling the Le Mans Tourist Office to see if they have any camping tickets left. They sell them at face value, but you'll have to buy general admission tickets from them (Also face value)

They'll also be able to advise on local campsites, however some of the ticket agencies (eg Just Tickets)are selling camping at local campsites so they may all be booked.

The other option is to key an eye on the Club Arnage website, as the race weekekend approaches there are often people seeking to dispose of surplus tickets there, usually at face value. I got tickets last year through that method.
