Shorty in a Morgan ? - at LM2003

WOW - breaking new here on Pistonheads ..

shorty will drive a Morgan at Le Mans.

He must be a bit mad at someone from TVR .. else
I'm sure he would be in a TVR.

Anyone know the real story ?

you don't want to go there, just take things on face value :
TVR1 = Stanton, Hay, Barff
TVR2 = Caine, Jordan, Sugden

leaves no place for Short. Does it make any sense in a rational world - on the basis that he has single-handedly done more for TVR GT racing, Sp6 engine and general following than any other single individual (exc Dominiek from Veryplast) - of course not.

but then who said that life had to be straightfwd.

one day sometime, I'm sure he'll be back in something purple with 3 initials.

i think the reason you wont find martin short in a TVR at Le Mans is 'cos he's got nothing to do with them anymore...

yeah, he's had lots of succes but he's moved on and has become the official UK importer of the Mosler, which he also races in the BGT series as well as Daytona, Bathurst, Spa??? etc...

he's in a Morgan 'cos no driver in their right mind would turn down a drive at Le Mans, and i imagine it also has something to do with driving a british car in the most british of races

and he may be helping out old TVR sparring partners RaceSportSailsbury...

might also be something to do with Mole Valley whom have sponsored him for years recently becoming a Morgan Dealer??
