Thinkin' of buying a Pit Lane Pass?!!
Is it worth it??
What does it 'ACTUALLY' entitle you to do/see etc?
And does it/is it valid throughout the whole race, and pre race?

Depends how much you really wanna get in there.
I've blagged my way in a couple of times before, when the marshalls weren't looking ... and of course they open the pit lane on Friday.

I guess you apply for them from the ACO -- I don't think they'll be cheap though.
I managed to sneak in during qualifying on Wednesday - we could stroll & chat to anyone, ended up talking to Hugh Chamberlain about his Lotus Esprit's, the tales he told were the most enlightning....like how Porsche had a hollow chassis which was filled with water for the qualifying, then along the Hunaudieres they flicked a switch, and they 'lost' some water !! Or the rear wing that was twice as heavy, which the team boss would remove for a feather light version at the last possible moment -- all in the spirit of the regulations
