Anyone going to Le Mans from Essex Friday 13th?

I'm now think of going (late I know) to Le Mans to support our local boy Michael Caine and the TVR mob.

I was thinking of going down on the Friday and returning Sunday night. Is there anyone from the Essex or surrounding areas that might be going that day?? I've never driven in France let along on the wrong side of the road so some TVR driving colleagues would be cool.

As I'm late booking it is likely that I will need to stay at the:

Les Sablons
61130 Belléme-Saint-Martin

Which is 30 miles away from the circuit...

Havn't made my mind up yet just want to get some idea of who's going...

I'm going, but leaving on Thursday and returning on Monday. We may be able to squeeze another car onto our pitch (got 3 for 3 cars), but you'll need to supply your own tent! Let me know if you're interested in this.

I am leaving on Thursday from Colchester , you could camp on parking bleu I think its still turn up and pay. Its basic but ok

I'm on the 7am Ferry crossing so bound to see someone along the way.

I think we're on the 10.04 crossing - about 12 Marcos's (Marcii), a Griff and a Chimeara.

Like Lensey we are also getting the 7am ferry over & coming back on the 10-45pm sailing on Sunday.

Staying in Chatres

Me, DJFish and 6 others (in a Cherokee and Passat or Vetra) are leaving Langham around lunchtime Friday.

Probably won't get to Houx til late Friday but hey ho!
