What track orientated cars have you driven Dean? The unservo'd cars I have driven like the S1 Elise and Morgan 3 wheeler all feel a bit crappy compared to servo'd cars. As long as they are fine for the road to left foot brake and heal and toe I will be happy as standard myself.

I’ve driven most things on track, I’ve worked with BMW for 11 years and track days are a fairly regular thing, caterham’s, Ariel Atom etc. But this is something for me to take around mid Wales for a good few hours on a Sunday afternoon and want brakes with plenty of feel that don’t need to be track warm before getting the best from them. My technical knowledge isn’t amazing but I’ve got our workshop manager looking at some alternatives with local suppliers. Car being delivered down next Thursday, can’t wait!

That's the original standard set up you have there, not sure what the uprated M/C's are.

I found that set up to be pretty good feel wise, but it did take me a fair while to get used to them as I've always had servo'd brakes.

Might be worth holding off until you have a couple of thousand miles under you belt, see if you begin to get used to them before splashing out the cash on a different set up ?

I’ll definitely give it a good few miles before I make a decision

Anyone know fin the speedo can be changed from kph to mph? Looks like the handbook says it’s set to one or the other depending on the market

I’ve been in touch with Tillets who made the seats and they admitted they were made to a very tight budget and the vinyl isn’t durable. They’ve offered to reupholster in Suede @ £175 + VAT per seat or £275 in leather. Alternatively a local upholsterer has quoted approx £500 inc VAT to do it all in leather. It’s just a poor quality material, mine looks similar to your photo
Hi, I know you posted this a few years ago, but did you get your seats re-upholstered and if so in what and did it last? Just concerned about how often I stand on the seat with dirty feet!

I long ago gave up trying to avoid standing on the seat. Mine has an elegant gaffer tape modification.
