I filled in the online finance application on NVS web site at 7 am this morning does that mean I still stand a chance of getting one? Not heard anything from NVS today,

Yeah, likewise, albeit a few hours after. I don't hold much hope of hearing anything further to be honest.

Reference VW Passat Alltrack 190 DSG:

I phoned Crewe VW at 9 this morning. Quote was emailed straight away and I signed the agreement by 9:30.
By 11 the finance had been agreed and I then signed the order form.
I've now had verbal confirmation that my order has been accepted.
The outstanding item being the delivery date, which should be confirmed tomorrow.

The deal for what it's worth: 8k 3+23 £147 inc VAT, no fees.

The poor sales guy sounded knackered.
Cheers to whoever first posted this deal.......it's been emotional.
Good going, let us know how it goes, i rang Stafford VW and they never called back...

Did you get to spec the car at all?

I have been very impressed by the guy at VW Crewe. I clicked on the call me back button on the Whatcar website last night and had th paperwork to fill in and sign about 8.45 this morning. Order should have been in earlier but I had to resend the email.

Hopefully it's all sorted, but I've been here before.....

Well done - that'll thrill the guys from Stable, who said the deal wasn't real. Crewe VW and Stable are owned by the same group.

Clearly if VW UK want to get their sales volumes back up all they need to do is run this kind of offer now and again! On HDUK the thread runs to over 20 pages and loads of people seem to have jumped on the deal.

I wanted the cheapest deal, so kept it standard. It's a good enough spec for me.

I also called Stafford VW, but their quote e-mail was never received.

Just had Arthur Prince ring me and leave a message.

Apparently the wheels that NVL were quoting are "wrong" and as such they're "confused".

Obviously when I said - THis deal needs to be done asap at 10am this morning what I meant was "Can you dick around all day and miss out on the deal". Silly me. Must make things clearer in future.

Been lurking in this thread for a few weeks for a bargain lease to come up.

The Passat deal was the one!

If they do end up going through, I'm probably going to end up with 2 orders.

I got my signed paperwork in with VW Crewe @ 10.30,but heard nothing after that, so signed another from NVS about an hour ago just in case.

If that's the case I can hopefully transfer one over to someone who missed out on here. I'll chase up in the morning and keep you all posted.

An hour ago with NVS? The cheap deal was pulled at about midday so what on earth have you signed with NVS at 5:30pm?

less interested in whether the erroneous deals will get honoured, and more interested in what the correct deal is. Any news on this?

NVS are still claiming that they'll honour approvals even if an order wasn't placed. Heaven knows how.

Can I put my name down first for the Passat if you have managed to get 2? Would of been my mums first ever brand new car so was sort of excited.

My 2p to get the best deals:

don't hesitate by spending time asking questions on forums
phone don't email
phone a main dealer not an agent, even if the £ is a bit more

Sorry to those who didn't succeed, there's still a % I might not either, so I'm not trying to be smug.

Anyway......onwards to the next deal, because history shows there always is another.....
Don't run it past your wife first. She gave the green light for the Passat deal. Less keen on an Octavia.

So the deal I have been offered is

Passat 150ps Manual
£685 incl VAT upfront
£114.26 per month
2 year deal
5k miles per annum

Please please let me know what you think of this . Really fancied the 190 auto but is this still a cracking deal?

Whats the excess miles charge on these passat deals. Surely thats the clincher on these rubbish(to me) 5k deals. Most of the time its just used to sucker people in.

A lot of car for the money.
Called into dealer today but he said his system was locked out.
If he could get anywhere near your deal I would snap it up.
