So the deal I have been offered is

Passat 150ps Manual
£685 incl VAT upfront
£114.26 per month
2 year deal
5k miles per annum

Please please let me know what you think of this . Really fancied the 190 auto but is this still a cracking deal?
I'm amazed people are still being offered these deals. It was (allegedly) pulled early this afternoon and yet people still seem to be finding the deals.

It's a cracking deal and you should bite their hand off!

Assuming thats including VAT, that is about an average charge so seems fair.

If you handed it back with an extra 10k on the clock, it wouldnt break the bank and still bring you in just over 4k which is very good considering the list price of the car.

Been quoted this that I'm debating

M135i 5dr Auto
Metallic
Pro nav
Driver comfort pack
Sun protection glass
8k
6+23
£330 inc vat

Just trying to see if they have stock and if they can do a 3dr for a similar price.

Still a stonking deal for what is a decent, large car. You can barely lease a Polo for that usually.

It's academic now, but the cheapest deal was to sign for the 5k or 8k then pay the 7.2ppm excess.
Or as has been alluded to, part way through your lease, you can contact VW to refinance for the excess mileage at a discounted rate.

Yeah that's what I did with the R, £400 for 12k additional miles, payable monthly

absolutely correct regarding excess mileage and VWFS 20,000 miles over original contract all for the bargain price of £680

I've been lurking in this thread for a number of years, stupidly missed the Golf R deals a couple of years ago before realising how leasing deals were costed and what were good/bad deals (so thanks to this thread).
I see centralukvehicleleasing are doing the m135i manual on:

£184.99
per month ex vat
Personal Leasing
£221.99 per month inc vat
Initial Rental
£2,219.88 plus vat
Contract Length:24 months
Contract Mileage:5000
Admin fees of £150+vat [£180 inc VAT] are applicable unless otherwise stated

Which looks like a 9 (or maybe 12!!)/23 deal. The monthly rate looks good but the initial rental is very high yeh?

I'm looking for a hot hatch, maybe this isn't the best time right now to be looking (I've never went down the lease route before and only ever owned so I've always been wary)

Plus if you give the car back early you get another 45% discount lol!! Apparently I am the first to take advantage of that loop hole!

Ohhhhh, please explain further as I am likely to hand back golf r early due to delivery of an a4 avant ( or highly unlikely an alltrack) a month or two before official end of golf lease

Yes, that's a 12+23, quick tally up and it's just under 8k for the term or 79p per mile. I've been offered a 3dr auto with almost every option for £9500 with 16k miles (60p per mile) so the cvl deal isn't as cheap as it sounds.
