Hello, I'm looking for something decent with a diesel engine. I need 25k annual mileage, any other recommendations other than that below?

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...

BMW 335D XDrive Saloon
9+23
Initial Deposit £3837.69
£426.41 per month INC VAT
25000 miles per annum

If I could find something decent around the £350 per month mark I'd be a happy boy!

I remember a E350 estate deal on here last year which was unbelievable at the time. Wish I'd got it.
Yup, we managed to get one of those deals - absolutely cracking.

Around £315 a month for a E350 BlueTEC 9g AMG Line Premium on 15,000pa.

May sound daft but have you also been looking at lower mileage + excess? On the dealer I just posted above, we found it cheaper to go this route rather than specifying the 20/25k option.

The thing is I never see the excess mileage limit advertised on the pages, I assume I'd have to get proper quotes before I find that out?

That's the thing - they're factory order, so a special offer doesn't make sense in any obvious way. If you needed to do something, you'd do it on a base model, not a 4Motion DSG.
Depends whether they're sticking or not.
You can get some revenue through lease, get them out of the showrooms without affecting the sticker price and in a couple of years have some good used stock to promote the brand.
If you can pick up some happy PHers on the way whats the reason not to do it smile

My guess is they had a surplus of Alltracks...

On each website with the uber cheap passat alltrack, the "normal" passats and CCs were still 3-400pcm...
That's the thing - they're factory order, so a special offer doesn't make sense in any obvious way. If you needed to do something, you'd do it on a base model, not a 4Motion DSG.

Someone said they'd been told the wrong residual value had been put into VW's system. I wonder how many cars were ordered? If it was 100 then VW are looking at a £500K+ mistake.
No, they're not all factory orders. Mine (and several others) are stock cars. I get mine back end of next week or early the following one. There were several at the port that have been prebuilt & configured and by the end of the day there were lots fewer. At least 35 stock cars disappeared yesterday and no idea how many factory orders got honoured.

It was indeed caused by a wrong residual figure being entered. The computer system was working on the premise that the Alltrack would be worth about 90% of its new value after 2 years. Oopsie.

Just saw this and couldn't see it over the last few pages:

http://www.keyfleetdirect.co.uk/personal-lease-car...

Megane 275 Cup S

9 + 23
£191.99 incl VAT rental per month
£1727.89 incl VAT initial rental
8000 miles per year

Including maintenance.

£6143.66 seems like a stonking price for this?

No maintenance included though? How much is that worth over the 2 year?
How does the maintenance work on these? For instance, on my old Megane R26.r I found I could go through a set of tyres every 6 months, pads every 3 months and discs every 2 sets of pads.

That was quite a lot of time at the 'ring & spa by the way smile

Could someone remind me of the octavia scout deal please? Want it for comparison against what's coming up currently as that's the ideal car for my present situation and missed out on the alltracks.

Anyone heard anything about their Alltrack deal today - I was told mine has been ordered yesterday - should I receive an official VW order number or something at some point?

I spoke to my dealer (Crewe VW) yesterday late afternoon. I was told I can expect a build slot confirmation today.
On "Hot deal UK" website I read that someone already has their tracking number they can follow on the VW website.
I guess it's going to take a while to process due to the large take-up and general chaos caused by the deal.

Sent off my paperwork this morning and paid my fee for the Passat Alltrack. Told I should get a tracking number within a week or so. Got a DSG in urano grey, would have preferred white but can't complain. I'm told my finance was accepted16 mins before VW pulled the deal. First time leasing and still sceptical but will see what happens.

Got mine through CVL who managed to get 50 out of 150 applications approved.

Fair enough - the places I saw it said 12 weeks.

I'm hoping they'll drop a similar clanger on the last remaining Tiguans!

This is the only one I have available:

The gearbox broke after 2 weeks and 700 miles laugh

Think it was software though and no fault was found.

It's now covered around 17,000 without a(nother) hitch.

Least it was a very minor problem. Like that, a lot. Lovely wheels, as well.

I'm with VW Crewe too - let us know when you get your confirmation.

We need more AMG's, M sports and s lines in this thread! The last couples pages have been about a boring 1.4 and an ugly looking Passat :/

The phrase is 'fair wear and tear'. Going through tyres and brakes that quickly they'll decline to pay for them. You may get away with the first set of tyres/brakes/pads but no more than that. Which is why MBFS don't offer a maintenance agreement option on AMG product...
