I know this is a no chat thread, so I'll make this the first and last chat related post on this thread.

I agree with the above, could it be set out along the lines of:

Car make/model
Link to broker's website or dealer information
Business or personal lease (so we know if figures are inc/exc VAT)
Term (e.g. 1+23, 3+23, 6+23 etc.)
Initial rental
Monthly rental
Admin fee
Annual mileage
Excess mileage charge (if possible)
Total cost over whole term including admin fee
Average monthly cost over the term

I know it seems like a lot, but it allows people to really skim through various deals and hone in on a suitable lease deal for them without having to whip out the on-screen calculator.

Personally think the last 2 lines are the most important (and car of course!). I'm not interested in headline monthly rentals of £99 when there's a £2400 initial rental. I just want to find the overall cheapest deal.

Sorry, but that's a dreadful deal for the Avant 1.4 Sport. Audi dealers are doing them for £1,000 less than that over 2 years.

Sorry, but that's a dreadful deal for the Avant 1.4 Sport. Audi dealers are doing them for £1,000 less than that over 2 years.

The Saloon maybe, or for 5k miles per year but they're not doing the Avant at 10k miles per year for £1k less. The 3 dealers i've spoken to today couldn't beat this from Stable:

You pay 6 x the monthly cost in month one as an initial payment, then the rest is the normal monthly fee.

Cheapest I have seen on lease, about £30 more per month than the equivalent automatic M135i and cheaper than the manual M235i.
