Golf GTD is going back in December. Incredibly tempted by the Cupra deal but could really do with an estate or SUV for a bit more child car seat space... Anybody spied any deals on the Tiguan R-Line?

Another one here who went for the Cupra 300 hatch deal from IMG Warrington. I was considering adding Seat sound and winter pack (another £26.25pm) but decided to just go for a standard car in the mystery blue, it's on the 1+23 profile (£249) which is cheaper than the 3+23 (£240) for 8kpa so even better. I went to a local dealers for a look in the flesh and was impressed enough to order with IMG today as local dealers could not get near, they were coming in at around £251+ vat, guy i spoke to from Glasgow dealership was convinced it was a mistake and said if it wasn't then to just order with them so i duly obliged. My S3 sportback DSG is due back in Jan but i will need to send it back a bit early, Cupra should be ready to pickup in October but they will hold on to it until i pick it up in November ideally as it keeps VT payment down (no saving on servicing as maintenance is included). Will miss the DSG but the price was too good to miss this deal as i've had serious car envy recently and have been twiddling my thumbs watching a few good deals come and go as they have just been to soon for me. biggrin
Is the sound system worth it, im toying with that

I read someones review of the 290 a few pages back and they said the standard stereo system in that was adequate so I decided to refrain. I guess it is worth it if you are willing to pay for it. This will be my 2nd lease car and will be the 2nd one with no options (excluding cupra metallic paint) as both are well specced as standard.

The standard system is fine but given the upgrade is only a couple of hundred quid its worth it if you listen to music on most journeys. Still not sure if i am going to order one but if i do I will be adding the Seat Sound.

I've been told delivery October, possibly earlier but not to get hopes up. Does a short term stock lease or hire make sense until then? Using my work van as my only vehicle just now is really getting on my tits.

How much extra was it for the sport?
I started with the Standard on 6+23 @ 10k on 287£, then asked about privacy glass as I leave my kiting gear in my car quite often, that came to 305£ , then had a major fall out with local dealer who matched the quote and then tried to change it twice (viz my email further back on here) and then got a quote on a Sport for 326£ @ 10k miles. That is same money as currently the best I could find on A3 2.0 tdi S line , in manual, 150hp and no Quattro. That price is also only about 8beers a month more then current best on Skoda Octavia Scout..Sport has bigger wheels, Sport seats, LED headlights, privacy glass, better sound system from memory..at 23% of rrp on 2018 car, I think I'll treat myself to a bit of an adventure vehicle, the mud will look good on the stock white..mine is ion the ship for a week now so hopefully about 2 weeks away..

I specced it but haven't heard the base system.

Its sounds good, plenty of bass - its not up to HK or probably Bose standards but it sounds ok for the money I would say.

I have just ordered a Leon Cupra 300 manual through local dealer. He was happy for the deal to be posted on here.

So it was 1+23 @ £259pm for 10k miles. Still had the admin fee included, therefore it would be initial of £437.80 + 23 x £259 = £6394.80
Servicing, maintenance and tyres was an additional £24 pm

Dealer was Pulman SEAT in Sunderland and contact Paul Fowler on 0191 537 0017 or pfowler@pulmanseat.co.uk. Really quick efficient service. Order all done in about 30 minutes after a producive test drive

PM if you need any further details

Yes I know it's not a Golf R or Leon Cupra, or very PH, but if anyone wants needs a cheap, large 7 seat, proper 4x4 SUV for moving their offspring around, this looks a good deal. Yes, I know it's not the most prestigious brand or great to drive, or well spec'd, but if it's to be used anything like my wife's old XC90 - it will average less than 20mph and a few miles a day with the occasional long run to visit friends and family.

I want to thank FastWilly, who posted A8 deal. I just finalised it and paid £500 deposit and agreed on 30/09/2017 collection. Car is already in stock and they will keep it for me. It's Floret Silver, black interior, no options, 6 + 23 x £399.

Excellent turnaround, less than 24h for everything. I submitted finance form at 16.00 yesterday, was credit checked on the same day and got confirmation today in the morning.

WVFS told me I can request purchase price of my S8 in last 3 months, so will get it in September. My friend said he might be interested if price is right. He did running in, so knows the car. Other option is to pay 50% of last two payments left. Third options is to see if there's any point in doing preferntial termination if my friend doesn't want to buy the car.

This forum and Best Leasing thread is excellent source of information and very helpful. I will continue to post deals when I see something cheap.
Hi PP, apologies to drag this one back up from a few pages ago. Any idea if there were any others available on the same deal?
Also, does the A8 support Apple Car Play (as per my new A4) i couldn't work it out on the Audi Car config site.

Best Regards,
Rob
