I've looked at Golf GTE's on a personal lease and the best I have got to so far is as follows, this is for an Advance with metallic paint, but no other extras:

9+35
£296.74 per month with £234 fees

I make this £13,290 over the three years, but am not sure against which figure to compare this as I wonder whether to deduct the grant and net the price down to about £29k.

I've had carwow quotes too which can't get better than £340pm over the same period.

In fact the best deal for me seems to be a two year lease which works out at £9,412 over the same period.

Has anyone got any better offers that aren't just click bait? Thanks!
This was as of a month ago (I went with a non-Advance, but did get some quotes on those for comparison):

Wow, so even with COMAND the dash would look cheap?!

Yeah it's smart, has a slight purple hue to it.

Cheap isn't a word that's been used with the new E Class interior if I'm honest, I think you should go and check one out smile

I did say that the dash would look cheap and not the interior wink ...the Garmin will definitely stick out like a sore thumb against the open pore wood etc. Even the COMAND, whilst more in keeping with the high standard of the rest of interior, will have the slightly "cheap" looking plastic around the physical speedo I believe? Will definitely check it out at the dealership smile

Hi all,

I'm one of the daft ones that got a cheap Golf GTI lease with 5k miles.

I didn't realise how many miles I actually did - it's looking like 15-20k pa unless I get another car to run alongside (at which the Golf if pointless...)

My lease is with ALD Automotive, has anyone got any advice or experience of them when upping the mileage allowance?

Thanks guys.

"Black Rubin" is the free colour now on the GTI / GTD / GTE. It's not a flat black, more of a dark maroon/purple/brownish hue. Absolutely look at one or even find some pics online - it's not like a metallic black with a bit of another colour in it.

I'd usually say you'd be mad to pay for a colour on a 2 year lease. I'm paying the £280 for flat white.

Hey folks.

Any good Leon deals around, or is it just a waiting game. Just something small and simple

Also looking at a cupra golf r etc if there are any good deals

Thanks
CHL have very good deals on 1.2 TSI Leons depending on what mileage you're looking for.

Cupras are trickier. There are some good deals about within the dealer network but you may be waiting until next year for delivery.

Cheers for this

I seen the Leon deal on the 1.2, I have sent them an email.

I think I have settled on a Leon(for the lady) and a golf r for my self. I just need to find a good deal now.

I see on further back on this thread that lots of people mention waiting for Oct1 for other cars, are users expecting more deals in oct ? or is it a little bit of a lottery ?

VWFS often put good deals on the first day of a quarter, in limited quantities.

What's with these 18 month only MB leases that seem to be popping up recently?

This one I got in an email today shows a £41,000 E300 Coupe for £8,472 (incl. VAT) total cost over the 18 months. However, at 5k miles a year, it would only suit someone who drives an average of 13 miles a day.

Now that looks like a great deal. It also seems they will allow a 3+23 deal which works out at only £841.50 down and then £280.50pm - all inc VAT.

Car lists at £38,260 with no options and standard paint so I work the 3+23 deal out to be 19% of list. The 9+23 deal is a little better at 18.9% of list.

I think I would be very interested if my Golf R was going back sooner.

Great deal for someone if genuine though.
