Looking at an S4 Avant. Know I probably missed the best of the deals but looking at £375 on a 6+23 10k miles deal with Car Lease Special Offers (Wessex Fleet).

Is anyone aware of any better deals still available? And has anyone used Wessex Fleet before?

Thanks in advance.

Phil

That's a pretty good price. Over £1K cheaper than anything I can see on www.contracthireandleasing.com.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 6.4 V8 Hemi SRT Auto available on a 1+23 with 10k mpa for £794 a month.

Works out around ~28% of the ~£70k RRP.

A reasonable deal, with very low deposit, for a rare and big V8 with ~460bhp and 0-60 in 4.8secs.

Considering that nobody pays RRP for something like that and a nearly new can be had for 40’s you are kidding yourself with the 28% data point.

Look st, handle the same. Unrefined. Big mistake. Mind you it will depreciate 50% in 12 months so the cheapest way to own one.
It’s cheaper versus if someone was daft enough to pay full RRP. Which doesn’t happen.

If anyone’s interested Maserati have some good deals (on stock cars) on until the end of November direct through the dealer groups due to some pretty agressive targets. Based on conversations these aren’t going to be advertised via brokers but are on the dealers websites or can be discussed on the phone.

The Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante are on offer with some strong deals such as those below.

Ghibli v6 diesel
9+23
10000 miles per annum
Deposit -£3870
Monthly - £430 (inc vat)

Quattroporte v6 diesel (with a few options)
9+23
10000 miles per annum
Deposit - £5000
Monthly - £595 (inc vat)

He is kidding himself with pretty much every post. Yipper is our resident "you didn't want to do that" /whiny voice off/.

Going to place an order for a Karoq for the wife tomorrow. Good deal from Steve at Lightcliffe Skoda

Karoq 1.0 TSI SE Technology DSG
9+23
£1,475.60 (Incl VAT) Initial
£163.96 (Incl VAT) monthly

Works out around 23% on the P11d so ok. Had a go in an Ateca today and seem like a nice car so going to take the plunge. Probably a bit down on power but will ok for mainly town/b road driving.

Try Graypaul Maserati in Nottingham. I know they have a number of Ghibli’s available starting at £430 per month (inc vat) based on 9+23 (10000 per annum) and also have quatroportes available (£595 per month). Worth giving them a call as the deals are definitely available on stock cars until the end of November.

Got a feeling with all this hype they’re not gonna be that great! Nevertheless it’s got me interested ??
Agree going to be a major anti climax. Might see some good deals on the sirocco seeing as that's end of line now, but all the hype normally means people are often left wanting more.
Depends on what the expectation is. I'd say anything that amortises to £300pcm for an R is a decent deal, but perhaps people are expecting stupid prices, in which case they'll be disappointed.
I do wonder what people's expectations actually are too. An amortised £300 pcm still seems like it would be very cheap to me. Even with broker discounts and no options it's still a £30k car new so 7k over two years or 11k over 3 would be a very good deal - depending on the mileage allowance to some degree.

Personally, if it's at that sort of level I'll be biting their arm off.
I can help here. I got one of last of the Scirocco R’s built. Amortised comes to just over £312 with 11k miles per annum on a 3 year lease. Oh and it’s DSG. May well purchase after the lease depending on its collectability ( if that’s the right word ) by then.

I had this deal from Seat Warrington but insurer wanted £900 if I owned it and £1700 if a lease co owned it so didn't go ahead.

SEAT Leon 5dr Hatch 2.0Tsi DSG Cupra 300 in any colour in Cupra range.
1 + 23
8kpa
1 x £298.00 Inc. VAT.
23 x £298.00pm Inc. VAT
We charge a admin fee of £178.80 (£149.00 + VAT).
I've never been asked or seen anything about telling insurers this, is it the norm that they need to be aware of whether you're leasing or own the car (I'm assuming pcp falls under owning)?
You own the car on a PCP. With a lease you're not the registered keeper or owner, the leasing company is...tends to increase your insurance premium. These are questions asked when generating a car insurance quote.
I guess lease drivers are a higher risk as they have the don’t care it’s a lease attitude than owning . What would be fair is if you can prove you’ve got gap insurance then there is no excuse to increase premium as much.

The VRS 245 deals all seem to have vanished. They were around £5500 for 2 years, 8k p/a on something like £2400 + 23x£125 + fees.

Still seems to be some deals on the standard VRS but not as good, and I find the spec a bit disappointing. The 245 has all the options you would probably tick.

£355 inc VAT is a good deal for that car, especially on a 3+. I'd take that deal all day long smile

Not only have the deals gone, but Skoda are cancelling orders for the 245 after realising they cant actually produce enough to meet demand!

As one who has put in an order for one, if my order is also cancelled, im a little shafted as it was a great deal.
