Hi all,

I am going to go for the following deal on the S4 Avant...this is the new MY car so has 19" alloys as standard

Edited by Wdk1866 on Saturday 29th April 07:47
What alloys does it have? How come the configurator doesn't have the 19s as standard yet?

Not a great deal but under £300 pm amortised so looks okay at the minute.

http://www.uchoosecontracts.co.uk/volkswagen_golf_...

5dr manual Golf GTI
5k miles PA
9+23 @ £206.19
Total price is £6598.08
Just under £275 pm amortised.

Not sure on whether the are any fees though although I think uchoose are a VAG dealer group.

Edited to improve the deal.

I was very tempted on CVL'S offer of the S4 Avant at £239.99 + VAT. I was looking for an unattended kumquat!
But with only 5k (could do with 8k) and adding a towbar, Virtual Cockpit and flat bottom Wheel, it ended up at £389 Inc VAT which is too much for me (I'd have an S5 in preference at that price). (£3600 initial too, plus £180 fee). For those interested, 15.6 pence per mile excess.

Cool I did think 18s (especially the design they picked) were a bit stingy for the S4

Anyone ever seen any good high mileage lease deals ?

I need 25k p/a, don't mind what duration if it makes a big cost difference.

Something like the new Golf GTD Estate would be ideal.

6 deals under £375 ( 2L to 2.5)
www.contracthireandleasing.com.

I also found that Neva consultants knew what they were on about when I did more miles.

Thanks for those links - I'll be looking for auto rather than manual though. Certainly gives me some useful baselines though.

I noticed there are deals on Mercedes-Benz C Class Saloon C350e with couple of brokers, cars in stock from £9K for 2 years and 10K per annum.

C350e Sport 4dr Auto

C350e Sport Premium 4dr Auto

Maybe it's useful to someone.

I guess it's not selling well:

List Price £39,555

Yes, jardines. I got an A4 Avant through him last year. Best price available and found him very easy to deal with.

That's cheap!

Don't forget that £2500 of that discount is the government grant

don't think it's that it's not selling well - just that the premium manufacturers all want to be the one that's seen as the best... and you do that by pushing numbers.

But it is an obscure model, if they just wanted numbers surely it would be C220ds they would be pushing?
