What is considered a decent deal on maintenance please? I have to take a car for 2 years and at least 15k (with a chance of ending up doing 20-22k at least during the first year) and been offered a Seat maintenance for 19.88 incl. vat. The deal on the car itself is not all that fantastic, but for the type of car, there is nothing much else cheaper .. Seat Leon ST fr Technology 184 DSG with free metallic and 18" wheel upgrade (to try to reduce the 20 week lead time) on 6+23 @ 274£ on 15k year plus 19.88 a month for maintenance if taken..so 576£ for minimum of 30k miles possibly up to 40k with excess..

I can think of no deals on maintenance in the history of this thread. Although £20pm seems not unreasonable.

20 * 12 * 2 = 480

Is 480 more than you will spend on two services for that model car over the leasing period?

They could offer the extension maybe....

Just spoke to them up to 3 months is at the same rate as currently paying. I've asked for prices for 6 and 12 months and they are going to let me know. I only pay £125 pcm so that's a great result.
Not an Alltrack is it?

It seems it is 20£ a month on all the months including the down payment so actually 20x29=580£ seat fixed price services are 1st@10k 179£, 2nd @20k 239£ and then every 10K @159@ so potentially if I do 40k in 2 years it is 736£? is my maths right? In this case it would make sense to take it as it includes tyres as well.. what do we think?

If you take maintenance, excess miles fee may go up to include it as well. VW "sells" extra miles midterm for half price, so you could potentially avoid higher excess at the end. It could be worth taking maintenance in your case. You will need couple of services and set of tyres.

I only did my deal yesterday for the jaguar. I got the very last of the extra batch of XE's as I was very high up the waiting list. I did want an XF but they are long gone.

Could some one confirm when they actually have a written confirmation! This deal is half the price of other dealers yet they should all have the same access to discounted lease deals. Makes me a little suspicious to be honest

My maintenance worked out the same as a full set of tyres and all servicing costs over the 3 years of my lease. So I took it because:

a) It's more convenient to pay monthly for all maintenance
ii) Other costs are included (e.g. tyre punctures, windscreen wipers, bulbs)
3) It'll cover the MOT at the end as well as any associated repairs (although potentially that could've been avoided)

It's up to you if it's worth it though. Peace of mind also played a big part for me.

I rang this afternoon for an update.
I ordered last Thursday.
I still have no written confirmation. But again was assured I had a car. He looked up My order and read it back to me. I was told roughly end of September delivery.
He did say that they had basically had 2 months work to do in 2 days. They didn't have the systems in place to deal with this deal that happened so quickly.
We just have to bear with them I guess. No other choice.

Anyone else received a phone call from IMG today?
Apparently Monsoon Grey + DSG is on an extended build time but Seat have car in that spec in the UK for September delivery that now has my name on.

Did it have adaptive cruise too? If so I've seen the car at my local seat dealer.

17 cars in total IMG said now in U.K. I had 5 door cupra in blue so pretty standard really.

Unfortunately not, I'd have like ACC and the winter pack but have just gone for DSG as my only option.

Has anyone signed up to the IMG Seat deal in the last few days? What delivery dates are you getting?

My wife's Focus is due back mid September but I'm sure I'd seen October mentioned somewhere for delivery which would mean keeping the Focus longer (if allowed) and it'd need it's first MOT and a service.

Got quoted for the ST Manual and its hard to argue with the price.

I missed the phone call but corresponded via e-mail. I was offered one of these cars for end of September, I've also got a mystery blue 5 door manual coming. However, I'm actually quite happy to wait, I've been told it's looking like December now as I've declined sooner pickup but that is not a problem in my circumstances.

I ordered from Seat Birmingham but had nothing through the post. Should I be worried?
