Anyone had a jaguar confirmation yet ??
Not me. I was promised a copy of the quote by email, while we wait for the finance docs, but it has yet to materialise. Might make a polite enquiry tomorrow.

I've had the same - quoted on the phone but nothing's appeared...

That's gutting. It would be awful PR and worthy of a huge complaint if a main dealer has put loads of proposals through for sales purposes even though there's no chance of it materialising. I'm getting concerned now given no one has even had anything on paper to confirm the deal

I think we should probably just give it a bit of time. There's no real reason for them to push through a ton of proposals if it's not a genuine deal, so it's probably just more work than they were expecting. Let's wait and see. smile

if there are only a few deal but a lot more applicants it would be in the dealers interest to allocate the limited number of deals to the customers nearest to the PDI centre to reduce delivery costs.

Looking around for other deals to pull me away from another Cupra. Not much jumping out so far except for the Vauxhall Astra 1.4T SRi, which seems to have a few decent deals about.

A bit more for the nav version. Any other suggestions for a 5 door hatchback with reasonable power?

You wouldn't be happy if turned up with 0 miles range
My lease turned up with under 5 miles range. Driver was very apologetic but said Nationwide Vehicle Contracts don't allow him to put in any more than it takes to deliver it.

It'll be going back the same way...

That's a good price - £182 amortised pm for 8k. I went for the Cupra as nothing offered more bang for the buck. One thing to note with the Astras is even the top of the range Elites don't come with rear parking sensors or a camera and it costs £400 just for parking sensors !!! That will raise the cost to £198pm amortised. That was the deal breaker for me when I was looking at the cheap elites a few months back, yes I'm confident at parking but I did enjoy the use of them on the Pug GTi.

I know what you mean. I think going from the Cupra 290 to losing out on a few of those luxuries (not just the power) is a bit of a pain. The problem is when I start looking at the version with Sat nav, etc, I just think... why not go for the Cupra 300. Man maths in action.

I also looked at the Astra, because as much as I'd go for the Leon the car is for my wife so the fuel economy over 10k miles pa does add up a bit. (she is currently on a Cactus £130 amortised deal) Do both the Elite and SRi not come with rear sensors? (the elite has heated rear seats! I think..)

Unfortunately parking sensors are optional on both versions. And if someone decides to pay for parking sensors, make sure they are no dealer fitted as it happened to my friend.

Hi,

I am new to leasing and have recently put on order for the new Cupra 300. Can anyone provide any advice as to whether GAP insurance is required and where is the best place to get it? If there is any other forum for this then please point me in the right direction.

Cheers

Yep, don't be an arse and stick some fuel in it.
If there's enough fuel to reach the nearest petrol station how is that being an arse? Do we owe the finance companies any more than the cost of the contractual terms?

No different to saying "don't be an arse, make sure you tip the delivery driver"

Do you not tip your delivery driver?

Toyota Aygo 1.0 auto with sat nav, reverse camera and touch screen media for £164.34 on 3+23 (8k miles): https://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/Toyot...
Over the two years you'll pay 34% of RRP, so it's not a brilliant deal, but it fits your requirements.
