That's interesting, according to here: https://www.gov.uk/plug-in-car-van-grants/what-you... the 350e is listed a sa Category 2 car with a grant of up to £2500.
You can get the grant on a lease vehicle?silobass said:

BMW 3 series GT deal which seems to come in around the 25% mark - business only though possibly as not showing in personal deals.

How stringent is the enforcement on Business deals? Does the lease and everything else generally have to be in the Company's name? At the moment there don't appear to be any business only deals that apply, but wondering if they do pop up wether my parents could take advantage somehow through my company.http://www.carleasing365.co.uk/business-lease-cars...

Decent deals on in stock Merc C350e Sport with premium pack and metallic,10k miles, PCH inc vat:
1+23: £363.84
3+23: £334.74
6+23: £298.88
9+23: £269.99
£41775 list price means the 9+23 deal works out at roughly 21%. Not including the plugin hybrid grant I know but a rough figure!
Prices from Yes lease but Fast Bug can do these deals without the £360 admin fee as it's MBFS.
Not much difference between 1+23 and 9+23, guess thats down to the very low cost of borrowing currently. I presume the 9+23 may help with obtaining the credit, i.e. in my parents case who have a very healthy income, no other debt, but are retired?1+23: £363.84

But 25% + vat is 30% http://www.carleasing365.co.uk/business-lease-cars...
So maybe the benchmark for business deals is under 21%

OOOh New VW Atreon lease deals are out! Keep a look for some good deals, i'm really hoping there will be one. At the mo it seems to be the standard £2500 deposit and £280-£300pm (inc VAT)
Given the £35k list price for a 2.0 derv I expect them to be supported with good lease deals, both private and business. That price bracket puts it in competition against some really good cars.silobass said:

Yes, as long as a car qualifies for a grant it attracts it. Grant paperwork is in the name of the lease company
I presume the lease company keeps that though and its reflected in their prices (i.e. part of the reason the C350e has some decent offers)?talksthetorque said:

Yup, I was taking the vat in to account
Apologies if this has been posted already
Was randomly browsing on V4B the other day and notice they've got the top spec Nissan X Trail Tekna on a really good deal just now - about 20% of list.
There's a few variants, but the 1.6 diesel, 5 seat, manual, 8k p/a, 9+23 was £1862 + £207/month INC VAT. Reckon you would add around £40/month for the 7 seat version.

It seems that script for sorting https://www.contracthireandleasing.com deals stopped working today. Checked on two computers and it's not sorting results any more. Anyone knows what changed on website or how to modify the script to make it work. Script came from Overclockers forum, but I don't see any comments about changes and I'm not registered on that particular forum: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/good-lea...

They changed part of the code in their results page so you'll need to change the line in the script that reads:var profileText = $deal.find('.deal-profile').text();
It should be changed to:
var profileText = $deal.find('.personal-deal-profile').text();
Alfa 4C Spider available at Vehicle Savers for £532 on 3+23 for 10k mpa.
Works out around ~24% of the £59k RRP.
Not as good as previous deals a few months back, but still a reasonable deal.

Excellent, thank you very much :-) It works again. var profileText = $deal.find('.deal-profile').text();
It should be changed to:
var profileText = $deal.find('.personal-deal-profile').text();
