Equivalent 24 month deal would be £12k which I guess represent about 33% of the 'cash' price and only 8k miles per year. No idea what alternatives there are but looks a bit steep to me.
Which is where the 25% marker falls down. Not all cars get huge VAG levels of support, so in that case you'd need to benchmark it against other deals for the same vehicle if it really is an E Class that you want. Otherwise you're going to default to Audi/BMW/VW and the odd Alfa....

As a benchmark, the E300 Cab is £480 a month on a 9+23 10k pa deal

Some people lease to get a bargain and are not overly fussy on what they end up driving, others are willing to pay a going rate if it gets them in to an EXACT model they are after. Again its all down to personal preference.

Gad, the deal I'm looking at is;

Mercedes E300 Coupe with 20 inch wheels added on

Deposit - £2898 inc vat
Monthly - £322 inc vat
Mileage - 8k
Term - 18 months
Doc fee - £360 inc vat
Vehicle holding deposit - £250 inc vat
So 322x17 = 5474
Add the other fees = £8982

Works out at £499 per month in real terms. Sounds expensive to me on the face of it.

Equivalent 24 month deal would be £12k which I guess represent about 33% of the 'cash' price and only 8k miles per year. No idea what alternatives there are but looks a bit steep to me.
Yes, it is defo expensive.

OP should pass on it.

Not sure if misprice or one that's in stock that needs to go but this is on 21st Century Motors.

VW Tiguan 150 R-Line DSG
1+23
10k pa
£318.31 per month

The non-DSG is nearly £100 dearer a month (!?).

Good price especially on a 1x23!

Guys, no clue if this is good but on the face of it seems like quite a lot of car for the total outlay:

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...

Polo GTI DSG 5dr

£646.80 + 23 x £215.60, giving £5,605.60 total across two years, 10K p/a.

I haven't seen any history on the Polo GTI and I know a new model is imminent, but wanted to flag in case useful to anyone?

Quite good for a DSG, I think the manual ones were going for £200 on a 1+23 12-18 months ago

I personally had a 18month lease on a Peugeot 208 GTI last year, it worked out brilliantly for me as it only cost £168 deposit and £168 per month (1+17) .

Jeez, I'd bite their hands off if that sort of deal turned up again. Very envious!

Front and Rear sensors are standard on the Veloce, so the Driver Assistance pack literally just adds the reverse camera for £550 - expensive if you ask me.

RE: the diamond cut alloys - have you seen pics? Is it the ones below?

I saw these wheels on promo shots and they were the ones I wanted, but they were never on the configurator...

They must have added the reverse and front cameras recently to the Guila as I am sure it used to be just fronts.

Here is a picture of new alloy options - double check with dealership though.

Hello, I've updated the contracthireandleasing.com greasemonkey script by Rory McCrossan that automatically sorts & displays results by total cost and shows monthly amortised cost.
I'm looking for a new lease at the moment and it's been invaluable. I can't take any credit for it other than adding the url match & slightly updated code that other users noted a while ago in this thread. All merged into one handy update here:

Just install Greasemonkey (called TamperMonkey if using Chrome) paste the above into a new filter and you're all set. Should display useful extra info like this:

Is this script still working for you? Giving me errors...

Just got a quote for the leon with DSG

SEAT Leon Diesel Hatchback 1.6 TDI 110 SE Dynamic 5dr
Monthly Cost: £193.44 Incl VAT
Initial Payment: £580.32 Incl VAT
Based on 10k miles over 3 years
Close to pulling the trigger on this one. Does it sound an ok deal ?
Sounds pretty good for 10k miles. Not seen anything better.

My wife is going to go for the 1.2 manual. Can't quite justify the difference for what she'll use it for. Looks like I'm getting a DSG Cupra so will be a 2x Leon household for a little while.
I've been keeping an eye on the Leon prices and not seen any diesel near that price. Best deal I've seen was an in stock 1.4tfsi FR edition for 3 x 23 10k £192 & £180 fees, but it was in stock. Have seen the 1.2tsfi up for as low as 3 x 23 10k for £152pm

Same sort of lead time as other halve's 1.2. Touch and go as to whether it'll be here this year.

I would have expected lower really. New GTI order books open next month, (hopefully some VW support behind them)

Current GTI's are all from stock. Have been for a few months now.

Tempted to cancel my Golf GTi order and go for the Alfa Veloce offer to have something that bit different but as it's
my wife's daily driver I'm not so sure that rear wheel drive is the best option for her.

I had one of these - lots of the brokers had access to that deal. My understanding was that it was actually a mistake - Peugeot released pricing that didn't reflect VAT correctly so it was 20% cheaper than it should have been (and it would have been a pretty good deal then). Worked out well for me too!

26% of list price, but that deal seems to have disappeared.
