Will be delighted to report back once the car is delivered. I'm not sure how it couldn't work out now. I have the finance docs from the supplying dealer, so I know where its coming from, know the address and contact details, and have a VIN number and numberplate. Fair play if anyone could fake this! Motorlet are legit and a good company. Will confirm once I have it.
You have the number plate? When’s your delivery date?

From images the Arteon looks like an A7. Still don't like it. Avant is too big. A4 Saloon boot was fine for our needs, better than the Golf R for size in fact.

Not sure what to do or what to get. We can hand the Golf back, keep it for another year or get something else.
The A4 Avant is a couple of mm shorter than the saloon IIRC. We replaced a Golf R with an A4 Avant and it was fine. Ready for a change now and looking hard at Giulias.
I've got the current A4 Avant and it doesn't really feel like a big car to drive. However a guy that arrives at work around the same time as me has a Q5. We often end up parked next to each other and the A4 is a good few inches longer than the Q5.

It's being registered in the next few days, will be available for delivery in a couple of weeks. Finance docs sent electronically yesterday, hardcopies posted to Audi today. Then they can confirm when delivery can happen.

Rang vwfs two weeks ago to reduce my mileage from 20K to 15K, got the quote today goes from 211 to 204 a month.

Looks like they are cutting back.

Not going to change as 10 months left to pay and it's a 60 quid charge.

Cheek B*****ds. I'd be inclined to stick the miles on out of principle, perhaps try this but don't kick it whatever you do:

I feel your pain I got a re-quote today from 45,000 to 39,000 with 14 months left and the reduction is only £21 a month. Was hoping for significantly more!

Has anyone dealt with crocodileleasing.com (yes, what a name)?

Trying to cut a deal on a lease and I'm not 100% sure if they are legitimate as no one has ever mentioned them on here!

Looking for a decent Qashqai or X-Trail quote unless I'm mad to even look at there biggrin

What Qashqai model interests you? Optimum Contract Hire Limited and Yes Lease Limited both have good deals on the 1.5 dCi N-Connecta 5dr model. Roughly £1800 deposit and £170 per month based on 9+23 and 10,000 annual mileage.

I have decided on the S4 Avant from CVL. Spoke to them today, one thing to be mindful of is the excess mileage, which was quoted at 15p. Better off factoring in any additional miles up front, which cuts the ppm rate to about 7p.

I have been wrangling over colour, and think I am going to stick with Ibis white and no other options. I’ve thought about VC but I think there is something quite nice about the dials on a sportier car (sportier than a 1.4 Avant that is).

Navarro blue was the other option but I don’t think I like it that much more, it is nice though.

Saloon: https://carleasespecialoffers.co.uk/car/product/19...

6+23
10k

£357.19, £198 fee

Avant: https://carleasespecialoffers.co.uk/car/product/20...

6+23
10k

£375.48, £198 fee

Long wait now though :/ Unless you're prepared to take a a pre-spec'd car which bumps the cost by atleast £2k (they all seem to have atleast that much spec on them).

Nice, thanks. Salon looks decent. I don’t mind waiting, all I have to do is sell my car.
I will prob factory order as I do want a few extra I doubt has been pre built

Factory order you're looking at March now, unless its moved on again. Not too bad if you can wait as you'll get new reg. What boxes are you planning to tick? If its either of the packs (sound or light), 5 v-spoke alloys, window tints, virtual cockpit, you've got a chance of finding one close to your spec. If its HUD or reverse camera it appears you SOL smile Most i've come across appear to have atleast £2k spec.

I'm currently looking for a good deal on a standard spec Golf GTE - has anyone settled on a good deal and ordered recently? Most of my quotes have been in the same ballpark with WindRush VW seeming to have a good offer at 6+23 10k ~£1500 dep and ~£235pm (VWFS, no fees) - the killer is the total lack of in-stock availability (as someone else recently mentioned) and an apparent 20-week build time. This is my first foray into leasing so I'm a bit nervous of pulling the trigger with the delivery time so far away - am I being silly?
