Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 4)

Nope, I found it dull because of the lack of clutch pedal. Thats why I find all automatics dull. Pushing buttons does nothing for me. But hey each to their own.
Well, I'm a total manual gearbox fan (had an S2000, one of the best manuals ever) and hated on all auto's and DSG's something fierce. I've totally changed my mind now that I understand what the gearbox can do/offer. Manual is going the way of the dodo so maybe one day you'll feel differently.Back to leasing...

I've the same dilemma.
I don't need a car the size of an A6, the A4 is adequate.
Will a better deal come up on let's say a A4 1.4 S Line S Tronic that I can order direct without any fees? Who's to say? Decisions Decisions...
A 1.4 S Line S Tronic can be had for same money as the A6 (within £100 total cost across term). So already tempting, though I'm just looking cheap motoring (in a nice car!) so manual is maybe better option and save myself another £750 across the term.I don't need a car the size of an A6, the A4 is adequate.

Unless it's a Rolls, which pulls information from sat nav to make predictions, no auto knows what's happening ahead and for that reason will always seem boring and dim-witted compared to when a human makes all the section decisions.
Some of the Audis do this as well. I remember test driving the A8 a few years ago and that would predict the gear it needed to be in based on NAV info.PeterBen96 said:
I think the M140i does this as well.
Must help the thieves no end when they nick it and rag it through the city to be chopped up. Worst thing in the world when you pull a hand brake turn to lose the fuzz and the damn auto picks second gear to move off Edited by 5to1 on Sunday 26th November 15:33

Long time lurker, but finally decided to bite the bullet and put an order in.
Went for a A4 1.4 Sline saloon, £227 on a 2+23 with 8k miles.
Would have liked the A6, but the other half already thought the A4 was too big.
I’m after the same thing (but on 15k miles). Just waiting to see if anyone knows of any Audi main dealers that can save me the handling fees?Went for a A4 1.4 Sline saloon, £227 on a 2+23 with 8k miles.

I crumbled and ordered an S4 Avant last week I'm sure the R Estate will be much better value but I also fancied a changed after having one (hatch) for 3 years.
What did you get the S4 for?I was quoted £2K down and £540 a month over 49 months, 5K mils a year - by a local Audi dealer on PCP, for a £53K S4 Avant including a few trimmings. That was after haggling down from £769 month!!!
This price include trading in my 2014 A5 with 13K on the clock and about £1K of damage to alloys and a small crack in the front left.
I'm guessing this is a BAD DEAL?

I tried a couple but they wouldn't play ball. And not having to deal with an Audi dealer would be worth more than the fees tbh.Edited by nickfrog on Monday 27th November 10:17

Well, it's a corker of a deal for the Audi dealer. For you not so much I was quoted £2K down and £540 a month over 49 months, 5K mils a year - by a local Audi dealer on PCP, for a £53K S4 Avant including a few trimmings. That was after haggling down from £769 month!!!

Spoke to our local when the S4 deals were on, he sat down, looked at the numbers and said not a chance. Was nice enough to tell me dealers who had stock vehicles with low spec. Unfortunately none with the spec we wanted were prepared to match Wessex, whilst a couple with higher spec ones were (but it bumped the price).

I found the Northern dealers to be more receptive when I was trying to find an S4. Particularly the ones that had a car in stock. If you can take it sooner rather then later, try your local Audi dealer, if you're in the SE they'll say no But if you get a nice salesman he may check the system to tell you who has cars with your desired spec.5to1 said:

We were looking at the saloon and were offered £292 on a 9+23 for 5k/year.
I am about to pull the trigger on a new Audi lease, currently in an A4 1.4 TFSi Sport Saloon and would be happy to have another A4, but want estate and S Line. But also like the A6, despite the older tech.
So am currently trying to decide between:
Audi A6 1.8 TFSi Avant S-Line S-Tronic
3+23 - £802 initial, £267/mth (£6943 total)
and
Audi A4 1.4TFSi Avant S-Line S-Tronic
3+23 - £767 initial, £255/mth ( £6632 total)
Annoyingly, fees are £360 for both. Grrr
What would you go for?

I got one from Wessex. They price has gone up slightly now, but in comparison to what your Audi dealer is offering, it’s still a fantastic deal. If you want one, I’d go for it before the price goes up again.
Thanks, not seeing an S4 on the site but will get in touch. That's a good deal you got there!T
