In the echelon of motoring ordure this must feature somewhere near the top. A big statement of naffness for anyone, let alone a 17yr old.

Guaranteed to embarrass & never be cool, even in an ironic-naff way. Bull bars. Yay! An aesthetic st-storm.

Dog turd rolled in glitter. What a wonderfully florid interior.

Tow bar!

Available on eBay and ending soon. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1996-SUZUKI-X-90-2WD-BLU...

Do it.

You know it makes sense.

That's what you end up with when you compromise between four designers, each wanting an SUV, Saloon, Two-Seater Sport and City car

The problem with crap cars is that the insurance is higher because you might not be so careful and more likely to have an collision with another insured driver. Get a good car and you might be more careful so lower premiums.
I'm not sure whether this is a serious or sarcastic post rofl
Serious

We also found that fully comp insurance was cheaper than 3rd party on the basis that if you only insure yourself 3rd party then you are more likely to have a claim against you.

I've only ever known one bloke ever have one of those.

He came out as gay about a year after he bought it. Like we didn't gues when he rocked up in that. Did come as a shock to his g/f though.

So who exactly decides what makes a car so crap you "might not care about it". Ever considered that a car might be so crap it's never worth claiming on it?

I think you're making up your own associations there.

Err it must be the insurance companies.

When my son was 17 the cost to insure a 1.1 Fiesta with DL was £1700.00 for fully comp and more for 3rd party and when he changed to a 1.4 Clio the insurance cost dropped. When I asked why I was told that in the cheaper car he was perceived as a greater risk to 3rd party claims.

Think what you like.

That sounds to me like you have take a passing reference as a literal statement.

a 1.1 Fiesta was, at one point, the most commonly written off vehicle in the UK. The 'value' of a vehicle is immaterial under £5k in insurance terms, and premiums are based on models at a statistical risk, not whether or not the insurer thinks they are "crap" or not.
