I'm not a huge fan of the styling, but that is a personal thing anyway.

I think it is a very good, modern car for the money. Poverty spec never bothers me and it won't even be lacking in the important kit anyway.

Wheels look fine too!

The vinyl seats and 16 inch alloys would be a show stopper for me. Also at this offer price they only have solid white or solid black.
According to the spec sheet the Artico "leather" is what you get in every car in the range until you get up to the A43 AMG (Artico and microfibre cloth) and C63 AMG (Nappa), so the SE spec makes no difference to the seat material.

The wheels are pretty appalling though smile
You would have thought the OP would be used to pleather already owning an A Class! smile

Pleather is fine.

You might get a better deal from Motorpoint on a nearly new one, and nearly new 3 Series/A4s are also available for the same sort of money.

It's not a bad deal whatsoever but the C isn't very rewarding to drive or spacious. Personally, I prefer my A4. It certainly isn't a drop everything type of deal - but if you want a brand new Mercedes saloon it's decent enough, I suppose.

£1k more for the Exec Edition is worth considering.

The artico isn’t too bad really and has worn well on my 69k mile 2014 W205. If you’re intent on getting it in black then I’d consider the cream pleather as the black makes the cabin feel quite dark. I haven’t had any issues with new jeans on the cream smile

Agree with the spec though. The upgraded lights are in a different ballpark from the standard ones on the SE spec. Sport was a good compromise if you don’t want the more flashy AMG trim styling and price tag. Not sure what they’ve rebadged that as nowadays though.
