Coming back to the OP, take a look at your PCP agreement and work out where the 50% VT termination point is, likely ~6 months before the balloon becomes due.
I would continue using the car as normal and then VT it when you've paid the required 50% (inc. interest & balloon), if you're VT'ing the contract the mileage is irrelevant as the contract no longer exists. You just need to make sure it is in reasonable condition for the age and mileage and that it has been serviced correctly (for your own peace of mind if nothing else).
That is going to be by far the cheapest option for you. Audi may try it on and attempt to charge you for the excess mileage but tell them to go swivel for it...you don't have to pay it

Fair wear and tear guidelines can be found here...I would continue using the car as normal and then VT it when you've paid the required 50% (inc. interest & balloon), if you're VT'ing the contract the mileage is irrelevant as the contract no longer exists. Always useful to have at hand
Also NEVER sign anything from the finance company to facilitate a Voluntary Termination - they will use weasel-speak to get you to legally commit to extra (mileage) charges. Use a templated letter which can be found by googling.
I would personally be uncomfortable about trying to VT a highish miles car (significantly over agreed miles) as i think they would be more inclined to pursue you relentlessly as its more in their financial interest to do so, and likewise i wouldnt be bothered with the hassle / stress of arsey threatening letters.

It's funny how someone can read a post and pick out all the bits that they can twist to suit their argument which in fact bares no resemblance to what was in fact written!

i mentioned the car as its no secret, i've posted on the alfa threads asking questions/advice. i mentioned i was in departures as i was inferring i don't spend my Friday nights without anything better to do than posting on an internet forum... but you took that as a brag. O wow i can afford to use an airport, I'm so boastful!
also i admitted i was a hypocrite.

I've removed my posts. Unnecessary rant. After all you do drive an Alfa so fair play.
