Think it was broadcast on MotorsTV this year.

Also streamed live on YouTube on the Nissan Nismo channel which is a lot better quality than MotorsTV

I think he's talking about the Bathurst 1000 (V8s) rather than the Bathurst 12hr (GTs).

I can recommend their Superview streaming service. I usually watch all the races on catch up using this and just cast it to the TV with Chromecast. Always watch Bathurst live though, also through Superview.

Quality is so poor on Motors TV I couldn't watch it. Well worth the £20 a year for Superview to watch it in HD.

A new Freeview channel launched earlier this month called "Freesports" (95), in their initial press releases they said the Bathurst 1000 would be on there.

Channel also available other popular TV services as well.

I've really failed at seeing any V8s for the first time in god knows how long, any suggestions on the best way to play catch up before the big race?

As i said above. Just subscribe to their Superview service. 20 quid for every Quali session and race in HD.

Dunno if I`m supposed to share this sort of thing on here ? But I run KODI with the Motor Replays addon, that has all the 2017 races in HD. Usually available only a few days after the race in great quality too.

I happily paid for BTSports HD for the V8`s and MotoGP, then they dropped the V8`s. mad

I didn`t realise the £20 superview was for the year though. I`ll probably be getting that so I can watch Bathurst and the rest of the season live.

I had Superview last year it is really good just forgot to renew and somehow had naff all time to watch it this year. Think I'll get it again this weekend and just binge watch for the next 3 weeks hehe
Has anybody seen the retro liveries for this weekend by the way? I'm in love with all of them

I've watched a couple on replay that haven't been HD quality but the rest have always been spot on for me.

Or you could get Superview it's around £19.00

Motorsport TV are also showing Bathurst live, they're also showing the last from Sandown at 7am Tuesday.

If I was lucky enough to live in England with the vast selection of fantastic racing you have the last thing I'd be watching is the boring taxi "racing" from here... even the bogans are over it, attendances are way down, I haven't watched for years.

Very little UK stuff comes anywhere close to the V8s for good/fair racing. IMHO. The UK is suffering badly from a trickle down of very poor driving standards from the BTCC that is badly affecting club racing and above throughout the UK.

Here's a (possibly not very) interesting tid-bit:

At BTCC races, the grid formation lap is accompanied by Propaganda's "Duel" on the tannoy, a song from 1985. I don't know whether it's coincidence but back in the 80s, channel 7 would use the same song over all their hourly updates for Bathurst, for years. I wonder if Alan Gow is a bit nostalgic like that?

Didn't it used to be used for the rally coverage on the BBC over here though?
