So, just collected this new to me V12, as soon as I started the car to leave the dealership it started to rain..

Still I managed the 6 miles home.

Quick Silver secondary decats fitted and I removed fuse 22...BUT

I'm sure 22 removal hasn't done anything. Am I right in thinking it's the one nearest the back of the car in the boot?

It's just that it doesn't really bark until it hits 4k. It burbles nicely on tickover then goes quiet.

Very nice car.

Isn't it 15 in the later cars?

It's in your manual wink

Brilliant car! Think it's fuse 15.

How's that 4C?

Handbook said 22 exhaust flap.

4C only picked up on Monday and 200 mile journey home on the motorway. Not used it since.

Reading elsewhere it might seem that contrary to the handbook it could indeed be fuse 15 (fat lot of good)

Picture here, how are they numbered, I'm confused as I thought 22 was left row bottom but could it be last fuse on the right??

So in which case which is 15?

I think it's the one numbered 15 wink

It's just the numbers are tricky to see without a torch. But if you expand that picture you will see small numbers marked down the side on the black casings. It's an orange one half way down the left side

Would 100% recommend one of Clives switches from cccharger - about £70 from memory effectively introduces a remote controlled relay in there so you can switch it on/off depending on when you want it loud or quiet for motorway cruising

Lovely car btw smile

It's the 5A orange one labelled "15"! wink

(labelling is embossed on the the black plastic to the left of the fuse - I'm guessing you didn't see them).

What an absolute swede I am.

Thanks so much guys, didn't see those numbers.

I wonder what i did affect with taking 22 out, probably nothing

I'll look into a remote gadget too.

Thx

Lol, no probs.

I believe Fuse 22 is the warranty invalidation fuse... wink

EDIT - Fuse 22 is actually the fuse for the power outlet in the boot, so absolutely no harm done by removing it!

Never bothered with removing the fuse as I always drive with the Sport Button pressed biggrin

Much better throttle response and that great sound from the V12 when pressing on and of course a lovely burble when you back off the throttle yes

It was fresh in at Sevenoaks, they didn't have time to advertise it. 7000 miles 2013 manual car

Sport button and fuse removal are different in terms of flaps opening I believe

Quite right. Disablingbthe fuse means. The valves are always open, using the sports button means they are open from 3/3.5k revs. Cannot remember which. Much better to have the valeves disabled and have the sports button pressed smile

Edited to say Congratulations and enjoy!
