What are the S60's like as a "white goods" type lease?

Coming to the end of my current lease and this popped up - at £100/mth with £2k deposit it doesn't seem too bad?

Colleague just ordered a new BMW 520d M sport Auto in white / saloon @ £355 ex vat (non maintenance)

3 + 36 with 36k miles

Seems a decent deal, are there any other mid size automatic motorway cruiser deals about?
Link?
No link as it was a quote, but try Parks BMW in Glasgow

It was 14k miles a year sorry not 12k

I had a couple of quote from select pre xmas on this model with metallic, so i'd say poor
Fully maintained 9+23 on 10k at £327 inc VAT
Non maintained 9+23 on 15k at £347 inc VAT

Are the Simpsons deals still the best for the Karoq?

http://www.simpsonsskoda.co.uk/pch-offers/karoq-se...

The Kodiaq looks like a good deal but might be a bit big for the wife.

Very good deal. Already discussed about on this thread last week. I think the monthlies are cheaper on a 24 month term rather than 18 months. Also includes 'free' metallic paint and 2 choice of leather interiors.

I've gone for one as have several other PHers. Went with Lookers Stockport Volvo @ £183/month inc VAT on a 3+23 term with 8k pa as they were the cheapest for me.

Mill Volvo had 50 order slots available and they've probably all been taken now (only 4 slots left on Sunday).

Stoneacre Lincoln had a good deal too, but I think their order books closed over the weekend? (from wemorgan's post?)

More discussion about it here along with dealer details etc. -

The V90 deals are great value at the moment but just to warn people who need to carry large items in the boot that it is not very tall. Was tempted by these deals so had a look at one at my local dealer on Saturday. The boot height is less than 70cm, compared to my Golf R estate’s almost 90cm with the low floor setting. Certainly not enough space for a Labrador sized dog to sit down in unless you want it to have a stiff neck! Only for that would have signed up there and then.
Do you mean a Labrador or a Leonberger?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-lAXhjzohQ

A lab could sit down in there i'm sure! Granted it's smaller than the competition and V70s of old but it's still a decent tub.
No, Labrador or Retriever. There’s enough space for them to lie down, but not to sit down. I was surprised how shallow the boot is. Decent width and depth though so the overall capacity is ok.

Just had a quote from VWFS to buy our A4 Avant 1.4TFSI after the lease ends in April.

They want £17646. So it's depreciated £11854 from list or 40.1% over 2 years & 20k miles (list price of £29,500).

The lease cost £5759 total (£270 worth of road tax included) so they netted £5489. Would have needed a cash discount of £6365 to get to the same financial numbers if bought, plus you'd then have the hassle of selling. God I love lease deals.

In any case, I think their quote to buy is on the cheeky side as Car Giant are selling an identical model at £18,000 which means it went through the auction house at around £16,500 plus needed transporting, inspecting, appraising etc. I'm surprised they don't offer keener deals to keep the car. Guess they want you in a new lease deal, keep the numbers up!

List price is all well and good but Simpsons Skoda (of the good Kodiak deal previously posted on here) are just blatantly advertising new (pre-reg) cars with £4000/£5000 discounts on their website at the moment so it does skew what list really is.

I'm not having a go, as a leaser myself I know the benefits but it does make the "25% or below RRP is a good deal" method slightly flawed.

Uchoose - dealt with Chris Powell. May be worth contacting him for an update if you haven't been dealing with him.

Appreciate that but Carwow list average discount on the A4 Avant at £4186, and that will be skewed as more discount can usually be offered if you're loading up with options or going for a high spec as there's more margin in the car as opposed to the option-less mid-trim Sport that we all got with base paint. So it's still a winner of a deal, in my humble opinion.

Just spoke with Rob he says your guy used a different dealership in the Swansway group that had build slots unused whereas mine is still in a queue so think I'll be getting mine a bit later. Oh well.

That’s amazing. Your calculations don’t take into account the interest cost of funding a car at such amount. If you funded the car via pcp or a loan that would further increase the money you have saved. Leasing an Audi is amazing.

My A4 sport has cost £4,500 over 2 years. I imagine it’ll be even cheaper to buy as it’s the saloon. That means it’s made it far cheaper to lease even if I planned to buy it from the outset. The first 2 years depreciation hit have been drastically negated and I could buy it and ride out the slower depreciation curve now.

I don’t know if I will buy it though. I’ve got spoilt with getting new cars.

How did you get the quote and did you ask about extending it another year?

I’d happily y run it for another year at £156 a month or slightly more

Have you had your A4 serviced yet by the way? Do you know if it needs to be done at a main dealer? I suppose it does?

My service isn’t due for another 728 days or at 21000 Miles. My computer has been kind to me. It’ll be going back having never been serviced. Yet more money saved. Sometimes I think they’re paying me to have the car lol

Simple question: where to find leases on used cars (1 year old), it seems tough to find.
