Yes would say so. I'm after the estate but I can't get the pricing near that, even with the 1.8 TFSI.https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/main-dealer...

I am keen to get the advice of the regulars here, please. I have been following this thread (and the various historic volumes!) for some time - I want to try and get a VW Golf R 3dr (or 5dr) DSG. Flexible on term, 10k miles a year (though I think 8k would probably be enough). I have found the below deal with
Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TSI 310ps 3dr DSG
Contract Length 24 Months
Initial: £3,164.08 inc VAT
Term: 23 Months @ £351.56 inc VAT
Admin Fee: £295.00 inc VAT
Annual Mileage: 10,000
Total over term: £11,544.96
Extras: Metallic Paint & 19" Pretoria Silver Alloys
List Price £35,705.00
The deal seems a bit steep - I have been looking but most deals are not far off.
Has anyone seen anything at the moment that offers a much better package?
Thanks
That isn't a deal at all. VW seem to be pushing the estate PCH deals more than the hatchback so you may find a better deal for one of those. If you really want a hatchback, why not consider the Leon Cupra deals that are much better VFM than the above.Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TSI 310ps 3dr DSG

Alfa 4C Spider deals just got better.
Now at £393 on 9+23 for a ~£60k carbon baby Ferrari.
Works out around ~21% of RRP.

That’s S4 money mate. I personally wouldn’t. As said £7-8k in the current market or wait until a deal on them comes around againVolkswagen Golf 2.0 TSI 310ps 3dr DSG

I’m just an observer but there don’t seem to be any good cheap deals anymore? Nearly everything posted is roughly 250 or more + varying amount of deposit. I’m sure on the earlier volumes there was more variation.
Looks to me like manufacturers have gradually narrowed the scope of deals now everyone is so into them comparared with owning a car outright.

have all been posted over the past 3-4 months. They're just hard to spot between the chatter.

Ok need a 4×4 and quite fancy a hybrid as most of our driving is local runs, work, shops etc. The Mitsubishi Outlander fits the bill. Im new to leasing so have no idea if this is a good deal or not !
£2600 down then 48 × £289
8000miles
Otr-£36555, thoughts ?
I know 4 years is quite long but it has a 5 yr warranty, 3 yrs breakdown and i dont see the point of puting £2500 every 2 years.
P.s.its this model 2.0 PHEV Juro Auto(Artificial leather)
£2600 down then 48 × £289

How many miles per year? What's discounted price? £16k for 4yrs seems ok, but 4yrs in the same car doesn't appeal to me, what's the price for a 2yr deal? £2600 down then 48 × £289

Probably feels "less exciting" because most of the popular cheap deals have been for plain-Jane Skodas or taxman Volvos.
Does anyone have experience of extending their lease?
My Golf R estate goes back in 2 months and I have been given a quote for an extra 12 months. Original deal was a 275+vat on a 3+23 maintained. I can extend for 12 months for 225. This isnt bad as I was looking at another golf or s3/s4 and would be paying another 3/4 figure sum and an extra 100 or so per month.
I have only 10 days to accept the deal, if i leave it until closer to the end of the lease is the quote likely to go up for down?

Why would you not extend that? As you are maintained there are no real concerns I would have thought. My Golf R estate goes back in 2 months and I have been given a quote for an extra 12 months. I extended my maintained BMW 125d m sport and the monthlies went from 228 to 198. Sadly above to give it back in March

It's quite common for lease-extensions to go down in price with VW / VWFS. Think they see it as a way to keep customers. That £225 deal is very good, best to just grab it while you can. Hard to believe the number of people on this thread who will look a gift horse in the mouth.
I know its a good deal, I am a gambling man and just wondering if it will go down towards the end of the lease.LeftHandedSpanner said:
