Agree but the mrs limes the look of the black edition and wants the vc bigger screen etc. Im sure you understand there is no point me disagreeing. Its a back up if a golf gti or new polo gti deal doesnt come along. Also keeping my eye out for another round of VW Areton deals as they are not selling well at all so hopeful they might throw a few hundred to the lease market at a price similar to a few months ago
True lol. My quote was from Audi dealer so no fees either, I had a look at select for same spec I was quoted on and select alot more pricey so might be worth trying one of big Audi dealers direct.PrettyFlacko said:

Seems like a lot of money. I am paying £6k on the same basis for an Estate (albeit for a S-LINE non BE which I actually prefer as smaller 18 wheels and a less Barrats look, although just slightly).Audi A4 Saloon 1.4TFSI Black Edition 4dr

Hi, can anyone recommend where to lease a Mercedes A-Class from, preferably the AMG model, inquiring on behalf of a family member, thanks.
Do a search here is a good start.https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/

From reading previous pages looks like we're almost out-of-time on 330e / C350e, and have missed the boat on the Golf GTE already...which leaves a lot of boredom and soulless white-goods out there!
You have already missed the boat for C350e, all saloon production has gone and the few remaining estates are being offered to customers with saloon orders that can't be fulfilled.I understand there are nearly 800 330e left before build ends. That was as of the other week, so it may be less now.
Hi all
I am sure I have seen this question answered so apologies, I can't find it in here nor the last volume and my patience ran out!
I have an astra leased via vauxhall directly (ALD Automotive, I believe). It is due it's firdt service soon which I will be doing via vauxhall themselves.
It is on a 2 year agreement with an annual servicing schedule specified in the handbook. My question is whether people generally manage their way around doing the second servide before handing back. I think it's likely to be around £250-300 so avoiding this on a £130/m lease is a pretty big deal.
Can it be done and do people generally either
a. Hand back slightly early (a few days? Weeks?)
b. Do the first service slightly late (days? Weeks)
c. Suck it up!
I have read the contract end to end (and the handbook) and the contract basically says nothing more than "service in line with the manufacturers schedule or else" and the handbook just says "every 20,000 miles or one year". Neither have any reference on any leeway etc.
Any advice much appreciated! The first anniversary of the car is 5th April so I have a little time to work it out..

Seconded, thanks for the advice but my concern is that the book just says annual with no inference or explicit reference as to leeway, how literally 'annual' is taken etc. etc.
I think handing back early is a pretty safe bet but do wonder whether there is any formal stance taken on service timing (eg there are reasonable wear and tear guidelines - is there an 'acceptable' period of delay to an 'annual' service)...

I have just handed an ALD leased Corsa VXR, got the first annual service a year & 2 weeks from registered date, you are allowed a month over by Vauxhall for servicing date, its in the service book conditions, picked up on its 2 year return date no problems or charges, in fact they waved the scuffed alloy & front bumper also, picked up & checked by BCA.

That's reassuring cheers! Can't find anything in the service book that references that one month leeway which is annoying, was yours definitely in there? Can you remember where? Also released I can't find a registered date, just a delivery date!

The Tiguan my wife has currently is the 150bhp diesel version so the 1.4 petrol also being 150bhp shouldn’t seem too bad.
Sure, it’ll be down on torque, but will not be doing much other than a daily commute or ferrying kids about.
DSG will be nice to have too as it will then give me reassurance she’s completely confortable with it if she drives my S5 at any point.
I’d not want the 1.4 in the A5 deal which people seem to be signing up for, but everyone has their reasons for wanting a specific car I guess. For me, that would feel way too gutless in a car if that size.
As luck would have it, my approved used replacement S5 isn’t quite ready this weekend so they’ve lent me a Q2 1.4tfsi Sline. Sure, it’ll be down on torque, but will not be doing much other than a daily commute or ferrying kids about.

I’ve completed around 150 miles in it so far, and I’m very surprised by just how good this little power plant is.
My wife drove it today and is also more than pleased, so the move to the Tiguan for her is very much the right one with this engine. Reinforces my contentment with getting on that deal.
Ironically everyone seems to rave on about the virtual cockpit, but I’m not convinced having been exposed to it on this Q2

Agree, love HUD but couldn't really care less about VC. Just don't spend long enough looking at it for the extra info to be much use. Other then when NAV is on, in which case the main screen is just as easy to glance at.5to1 said:

My main use for the VC is to have a zoomed in view of maps. It let's me get a good id a of how sharp next corner is. I then have a medium zoom view on centre to check what's coming up after the next corner. This is only useful for some heavy footed A roads.

I was hoping for a similar deal on the 7 seat version.
