Can anyone recommend a good broker for a small company fleet which is looking to go all-hybrid, please?

Our existing broker (from the previous set of leases nearly 4 years ago) is being very tardy, Arval won't deal with me direct, and I'm having trouble with a couple of mfr-backed financiers as we're a fairly new company (insolvency / rebirth 3 years ago due to a toxic issue with a sister company, rather than any underlying problems with ours...but if you've not got 3 sets of signed Fin'l Statements then some lenders don't want to know).

From reading previous pages looks like we're almost out-of-time on 330e / C350e, and have missed the boat on the Golf GTE already...which leaves a lot of boredom and soulless white-goods out there!
Rather than lease have you looked at buying used. Gives you a lot more choice and given hybrids seem to loose a lot of money a 6 month old car can be got at a bargain. Have gone this route for my company on the last 3 purchases. An example was the last Golf GTE list price at near 35k bought at 6 months old with 3k miles for £21750.

I currently have 2 Golf R estates on lease, 1 goes back in May, and I’ve been watching this thread for a long time now, and the good value deals seem to have dried up across the board.

Nothing hits me as cracking value like the Golfs I currently have, aside from the recent Volvo deals.

We used to be almost constantly seeing great value deals on here, but no longer, why is that?

I get the CH&L search emailed to me daily.

All the Golf R estates are well over £400+vat, however today there is a U Choose one for £276.93+vat on a 3x23 if anyone was interested.

I know it's not the best ever but it's the cheapest by a mile at the minute.

Agree, love HUD but couldn't really care less about VC. Just don't spend long enough looking at it for the extra info to be much use. Other then when NAV is on, in which case the main screen is just as easy to glance at.
My main use for the VC is to have a zoomed in view of maps. It let's me get a good id a of how sharp next corner is. I then have a medium zoom view on centre to check what's coming up after the next corner.

This is only useful for some heavy footed A roads.
no the main use for it is to show off to other photocopier toner cartridge salesmen who you are driving to the photocopier cartridge conference in slough. Their company cars aren't up for renewal for another year so they just have normal dashboard, what losers.

There have been cracking deals the last couple of months but they are few and far between and you have to be quick to pounce as they tend to vanish as quick as they appear.

But you're right, it does seem a lot slower on here and can be a little frustrating waiting for that certain deal to come along.

Hope I'm not coming the other way on those A roads biggrin

I use split screen on my BMW with the MAP permanently on one side showing RTTI info. Thats useful as a glance tells me where the traffic is around me. Saved me quite a few times from getting stuck in a traffic jam. I've set my Dads car up with the map in VC. To be honest I see little benefit in having it there against having it as split screen in main screen like my BMW.

HUD on the other hand makes a palpable difference. I always miss it when I'm driving my dads car, but I never miss VC when I'm back in my own.

What happens if you cancel a built to order lease car before it arrives ? I have to have a car for when my the company car goes back, my second choice of car would arrive by that date if I ordered it next week, but I'm hoping my first choice comes avaliable and if it did I would want to cancel my order and switch. Looking through the quotes I've had I see nothing mentioned about canceling.
Typically you would lose just your admin fee but always ask or check on the website.
I canncelled a Golf R lease when the facelift was announced and i just lost my 299 fee.
Yeah, depends on the broker. Some have different terms and conditions on cancellation. You get a 14 day cooling off period from when you order the car. From there onwards though, it can get expensive.

With Lease Comparison, i cancelled my order within my cooling off period and so refunded me my broker fee. They did say though that they can charge up to 3 months rental if any later than that.

Not one I'm interested in but might be useful for someone, by far the cheapest R-Dynamic spec Velar I've seen whilst browsing cars I could never afford smile

Feel free to post cheaper ones, RRP is roughly £52k

Anyone about to return an Audi. I have checked and they don’t use the vwfs charge matrix shared. Could end up costing a lot more if there’s any faults that the BCA find

Audi Finance is VWFS unless you leased it via different funder.

Does the S-line come with Sat Nav as standard ? How long did you have to wait, I've been quoted 3 months if I ordered as nothing in stock ?

cheers
It comes as standard on ALL A4s. As does Android Auto for Google Maps

Well that contradicts my recent experience handing my B9 A4 sport back. It'd been keyed the whole length of one side and also on the bonnet by some tts and the nice BCA man charged us £295 and said we could always contest it and we might not even be charged at all if our next lease is through VWFS (which it is). Waiting for the final paperwork to arrive in the post so I'll report back to confirm the damage.

But that's good, isn't it? £295 for the whole side? It's better than: "Body panel damage requiring repaint £110".
