Back again with something different to my last search (Karoq/A5/Tiguan).

I've found the A4 1.4 S-Line at Leasehub for £283.70 amortised on 8k/pa, which is 22% of the £31,010 RRSP. The deal is a 3+23 (plus relevant fees), but all in for £6808 for the term.

All rules of thumb point to this being a sensible deal at the 22% benchmark.

The A4 Sport (down to 17" wheels, loses LED lights, loses electric seats) can be had for £282.44 with New Car Contract hitting 22.9% of the £29,560 RRSP, but for what is £30 more over the term, the upgrade to S-Line seems a no-brainer.

A5 1.4 Sport Auto at Leaseshop for £320.98 amortised same terms (22.8% bench). Probably more than we need to spend and the A4 has a better standard spec in S-Line.

Before I suggest to the wife she goes for this deal, can anyone advise if they are aware of any better/more competitive deals for the same model, that are not on Contract Hire and Leasing site?

It seems to be the best deal I can find outside of a Superb again (we already have one and it seems daft to have two).

Cheers!

Rubbish deal.On the standard 2yrs, 10kpa, 9+23 test it means a total of £8025.26. excl fees which works out at 36% of list. Of course assuming anyone has ever paid list price for an Insignia...

Even allowing for the fact that the two year structure isn't the best for this car, its still a rubbish deal.

Ah excellent thank you now to add the S Line spec to my spreadsheet and see what it spits out!

Still leaning to the A4 from an overall outgoings perspective, but it's her call at the end of the day. Thanks for the heads up - surprised I didn't see those!

A8 deal looks quite good, kind of appealing as it comes with so much kit standard. It would be such a change from my TT though! hehe

Anyone going for it?
I really fancy it. I might have a change in circumstances soon that means I'll be driving a lot more, which doesn't really suit my current steer (E92 M3).

My only reservation is that I feel a bit young for one, and it might not fit on my drive!

Seems like an amazing car though.
My business partner has ordered one to replace a Jaguar XJ that goes back in September so pretty much like for like size wise. Looks a great deal to me for the money.

You might make my wife happy too lol. Need to really test drive the 1.4 Petrol engine in this though as I have a 2.0tdi one just now and she has a 2.0tdi A3 so May feel underpowered.

My mrs has the A4 1.4 sport, she got it for 800 down, and 203pm, great deal at the time, its actually quote pokey for the displacment, very smooth and quiet. BUT the manual is terrible when mated to that engine, weird foot positioning with long clutch travel, almost dangerous when pulling out at roundabouts, so i would really recommend the Auto box if you can afford the extra.

It’s an essential requirement for her anyway. She has a heavy right foot though, hence the debate. Thanks for advice.

The consensus here seems to be that anything over 36 mths on a lease deal is a no no, with mot’s and extra servicing costs etc.

Have a look at www.selectcarleasing.co.uk - cracking deals on A5 Sportback, cheaper on a 2.0 TFSI S-Line than the equivalent A4, again on a 22% bench

Are you sure? I can't find any that are 22% equivalent - the A5 deals there all look higher on 3+23 with 8k miles.

2.0 TFSI S Line Manual - £345.93 amortised before any fees frown

They've put prices up, they keep changing from in available to available. I got mine for £303 in VAT on a 3 + 23 at the start of February. Since then the deal has been pulled, reintroduced, prices up and down and pulled. Looks like they are back at the high end for that special now

Ah okay thought I was being a bit of a pleb not reading things properly!

The S-Line deal above looks rather good, but I think the above S-Line auto deal looks decent on the A5 at £316 a month amortised.

There's another I've seen on the net which beats it marginally by a few quid... that company and Select are the cheapest. I think if you go through What Car's site on PCH deals it should come up. I think it is that one. If I remember rightly I may have asked them about an A5 before going with Select and although cheaper on the deal and cheaper on fee (if it is this company) it was a one man band trading under company. Select advised me (rightly or wrongly - I'm a newbie to PCH) that some smaller outfits do the deal and a monthly down the line it is pulled despite having signed the paperwork.

Not many details but might be worth getting in touch if you're interested.

Hi
When did you get this offer?

The reason I ask is I have been in contact with Seat this week. I have been informed that this deal is no longer available.

Yesterday I forwarded Seat the Whatcar link which shows a great lease deal and Seat confirmed they have now been in contact with Whatcar and the deal pulled.

Seat stated that the reason for pulling the offer was due to a 20 week build time and they were loosing money on the deal!!

This was all confirmed via e-mail with Seat.

I will contact Warrington Seat now smile

Cheers
Any luck with this? I hoping to still get this deal!
