M2 is 48 month though I believe:

After an overwhelming amount of interest Park Lane have agreed to offer us 2 more cars at the same price point!

As before, there are only 2 examples available both with zero deposit and both are physical cars in the BMW Park Lane showroom today.

Right, I'll cut right to the chase – the headlines are:

• Delivery Mileage BMW M2 LCi.
• £450 Per Month.
• Zero Deposit.
• Sapphire Black Metallic with M-DCT – see images above for full options lists.
• Available for Immediate Viewing and Delivery.

To find out more just drop me a line on Tim@AnyM.co.uk or call 07778 209 057 and quote AnyM2. Alternatively, if you’d prefer you can go directly to Wayne.Manton@bmwparklane.co.uk quoting AnyM2.

If you want to pay >50p mile to borrow somebody else's Chinese car with a Volvo badge.....

Not talking about 2-3 year old purchase alternatives....Plenty of 2-3 month old, pre registed, bargain cars around presently. Skoda is just a VW, most will have 27 months warranty remanining etc.

Some of the cheap deals being lauded on here are based on 5k per annum - in which case 15-20% of list seems disproportionately high.

Borrow someone else's car? It's brand new? scratchchin

Oh....And the V90 is built in Sweden.
To put another way its 50p a mile excluding fuel and servicing to drive round in a car owned by somebody else.

Built in Sweden ..... from Chinese parts.

Why should I want to own it? Ownership is liability, no thanks.

Very subjective, not hard and fast but generally, for 2 years and 10kpa:

<15% Amazing, once in a blue moon (alltrack)
15-20% Great deal
20-25% Decent
25-30% Not awful

This is just a guide. For cars that are heavily discounted, its better to use the discounted broker price rather than RPP (you can find this on broadspeed etc). Above all though, make sure you are purchasing the car in the most cost effective way for a new car and check PCP, personal loan/depreciation etc. If you can justify the cost, and it meets your requirements thats obviously the main thing.
Amazing, thank you so much for that! Much appreciated!

Opinions appreciated - Have been offered v90 R design in metallic black with android auto as only option - £330 amortized over 24 months. Any thoughts?
Only that estate cars look like hearse's in black and that 7.9k for 2x8k miles = 50p per mile plus the cost of 2 services.

Well bought second hand Superb, would be a lot cheaper.....
Quite a few flaws in your thought process:

A Superb is not a V90
A second hand car is not new
A lease is often more expensive than a 2 year old car but not always when you consider all the factors (consumable, VED, repairs/warranty, opportunity cost, MOT etc...).
If you want to pay >50p mile to borrow somebody else's Chinese car with a Volvo badge.....

Cheapest 2018 Superb Estate on Autotrader appears to be this one:

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

£20,975 (10m on the clock)

Looking at 2016 cars, with ~16k on the clock (this one has 20k):

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

£14,500

Can't find a direct comparison, presume private would sell for less. Even still, taking these figures you'd still lose ~£6500.

2015's with ~25k on the clock appear to be ~£12k. So they appear to lose ~£9k in 3 years (I'm guessing your argument would be to keep it until warranty expires).

Once you consider these are dealer cars and a private seller is unlikely to achieve the same, its getting mighty close to the lease you were rubbishing :/

Smart Fortwo Coupe 1.0 Pure 2dr
1+47 @ 92.99 inc VAT
8k miles p/a
£238 fee

Amortises to less than £100 / month

A 36 month agreement, keeping the car in warranty, adds £15 ish / mo amortised
Is it bad that I find this quite tempting?!
Just not sure what it would be like to live with but £1200 a yr! Mental!

Most basic model available, to the point none are available used.

£4800 versus a 6-9 month old, higher spec car at £7750 from a main dealer.

I'd suggest thats not a great deal given the residuals are fairly solid on these after an initial drop.

Fair point well made, shorter term then it gets a bit more interesting, 4yrs like you say isn’t as good albeit many people don’t want to buy second hand etc

Must confess to not being a fan either. V90 on the other hand looks spot on.

I drove an S90 a couple of weeks ago as found a decent deal on one from a dealer. Granted it wasn't the longest of drives but initial impressions were disappointing. But yes, the rear end looks like they ran out of time and thought - fk it, that will do.

well you can't, directly, but if you look that is being run by BCA who are the auction house who manage the assessment, collection, marketing and sale of the vehicle you return. There will be something they've possibly agreed with VWFS (or maybe they don't have to) that when they automatically 'take control' of your vehicle and buy it from VWFS (possibly on the day of return), they can sell it however and to whomever they want. They've probably worked out that it's at least worth sending you a letter, as they can likely sell a percentage of these returning cars for more money than they'd have gone for at auction+fees, and not even have to see or touch the damn thing!

I asked for a quote - came out to exactly the same as WBAC were offering [golf diesel].
A decent price imho.

Shame that I'm done with diesels.

Yet it says you get the price through the VWFS.co.uk website.....
