Saw a few really stonking deals on the new fiat 124, like £120 pm or something but can't seem to find them anywhere now.

Frustrating too because i'd spent the last week or so talking the other half into getting one so i could blat around at the weekend in it frown

anyone seen anything half decent on the MX-5 or 124 ?

There's this one for £133 on 9+23 but only 5,000 miles and £360 admin fee. 8k & 10k available too.

I think they were limited deals, similar to the Scirocco i think, where most needed to be delivered and registered by the end of March.

As someone else said and replied to you above, there are still some out there.

I wouldn’t agree that all stock gets allocated early. I’m currently driving a Golf gti dsg nav on 6+24 for £231 a month 10k per year mileage. Picked up in stock 2 weeks before delivery.
Yeah agreed, our cars team carry between 1000-1500 cars in physical stock. Most large dealer groups will carry a few hundred cars in physical stock if not more. Even small dealer groups will carry stock cars

I potentially need a new car by May 30th. I've been looking at the usual suspects for 'In Stock' cars but nothing is really floating my boat. Budget is ~£550pcm on a 6+23/10k miles maintained but I could manage a bit more for the right car. It'll be a business lease.

Ideally I need something frugal (over 40mpg). I really like the new E-Class Coupe but it's way out of budget from a leasing perspective.

What's the story with "In Stock" with these brokers? Do they have a live feed from the dealers/manufacturers? I'm just trying to gauge how accurate "In Stock" is before I focus solely on those cars.

I'm not asking anyone to do legwork for me, but if you've spotted anything suitable recently please holler!
Just received this from Select Leading. Not sure if this is the kind of thing you’re looking for. It’s in stock, too:

https://www.gateway2lease.com/cars/mercedes/glc-co...

Not up to speed on MB or if this is a good deal or not. I’m sure someone will be along soon...

Look, decent deals shift units. You'd be very lucky indeed as a dealer to just happen to order and receive a load of models which then are miraculously awarded a huge amount of support from the manufacturer. It just doesn't happen like that, and I also know you're not allowed to keep an unsold unit in preference to giving it up to a dealer who has it sold if you are part of the same chain which far more are these days. It's very common indeed for models with support to end up with very scarce supply, build to order only and 6 months lead time. It happens far more often than not. One instance where this is not the case doesn't represent a 100% guarantee. All I meant was that I'd be looking 6 months before end of current lease, mainly because I'd rather get a great deal than an average one. I certainly wouldn't be leaving it to days before the date and then asking for help. I know many people are serial procrastinators though.

Large dealer groups have large targets to hit so have to plan ahead, more so for those with longer lead times. But I bow down to your knowledge of how the motor trade and fleet industry works smile

No st they have targets to hit and yea i am sure they do plan ahead, but your logic is broken as dealers don't get sight of the incentives early, and certainly not early enough to get physical vehicles ready for deals coming online.

I really can't be arsed to argue with you over this, so lets not derail the thread with how the fleet industry works eh?

Hi all,

I am current looking for a Golf GTI 5dr DSG for July/August time.

The best I have been able to find so far is on Nationwide Vehicle Contacts.

Profile: 6 + 23 months
Monthly: £297.96
Initial: £1787.76
Mileage: 10000

The best deals listed on CH&L seem to be all around the same £299 mark. Does anybody know of anything better?

Thanks

Thinking of signing up to this tomorrow:

Ford Kuga St Line X 1.5T
Moondust Silver
Rear Privacy Glass
Rear View Camera
Heated steering wheel
8000 miles on a 1+35

The options add about £13 a month so not too bad. Makes for a well specced car.

£270 a month direct from my local Ford so no fees.
