Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 5)

I can sort of follow here, but surely they have messed up here leaving it late or there is other measures they could have placed. On S4 for example all wheels are 19” so no variation there, the colour of car solid and metallic also should not make a difference - so there are certain cars that will have the standard figures correct - and therefore be sold after sept. Mine is one such car doubt vc being added will affect emissions etc. Sounds like an almighty cock ip to me? So at what point are they able to start registering cars again after September - this the bit I don’t understand.
Over here all S4 wheels are 19" but not necessarily in other markets. IIRC the S5 when it came out had 19" here, in Germany it was 18". Might not be the case nowadays.Picking up on Audi delays, I ordered an A5 Sportback in December, and was told that I had to take delivery by end of Q2 2018. Perfect fit for me, but all of a sudden delivery is now slated for mid-August and keeps sliding back.
I'm very close to cancelling, but I'm loathe to do so as the deal is decent, and the wife quite fancies the car. Total PITA.

I ordered an A5 SB 1.4 TFSI in Jan, cancelled in March due to lack of build updates. I think you may have a long wait on your hands!I'm very close to cancelling, but I'm loathe to do so as the deal is decent, and the wife quite fancies the car. Total PITA.

Thanks for your reply, I would like to hear from members who did order the S4 at around the £9200 + mark during that particular period and had it go through ok and been given an order number and possible build date etc
Yes, so far so good here. Ive got my order number and a build date in the Audi order tracker of 14th MayActus Reus said:
How did you get on with getting your money back from the lease company? I sense I'll have a battle on my hands, but I'm sure of the legal position. I just don't want or need the aggro as I'm busy enough.
I was lucky, as they were the ones who prompted it by emailing me and offering a free cancellation. I hadn't actually paid any fees by then anyway, although their normal terms would've involved me paying their £288 if I cancelled. We're waiting for a 2 litre TFSI, also with the tech pack. As I said, I ordered in December so expected the car to be ready long before we were.
The lease company will no doubt claim that I have to give them money per their T&Cs, but they'd be wrong in my view. As I said though, do I want a row? Not really - I'd be perfectly happy with the car.
Oh, and as to being given build weeks, I've been given build weeks 3 times now, so take that with a pinch of salt.

It’s variable within the confines of a maximum time limit and mileage limit. The time limit on the variable will be 24 months.
Maybe as part of the pdi they set the date of delivery so any service schedule starts from that date but then if car has been sat for a while since manufacture does this not mean the oil has already aged by the period it has been sat about therefore surely wouldn’t last as long in use on a variable regime? I’m not entirely clued up on how this process works tbh.
My oil change is showing at 2 years or 19K miles. Date was probably reset by the dealer before collection and oil seems to be doing well. I wouldn't worry about it in case of VAG cars. One month delay in collection is nothing. A lot of cars is stocked for months. My previous leased Audi was made to order and had oil change at 17K miles. All, despite the relentless need of people on the internet to turn even car leasing in to a dick waving contest/CV review/G8 Summit - can I say thanks a lot for this thread.
I have got my order in of the S6 Black Edition all confirmed. Love my current A6 Black Edition except for power and traction so that should sort it! Cheers for all the tips and jargon busting.
Could you tell me who you ordered this through? I tried various people yesterday and eventually I callled Audi who said they are no longer accepting orders for the S6 due to the new A6 coming out. It’s about the going rate at the moment, but these have been substantially cheaper previously. A Leon Cupra would likely work out cheaper.Volkswagen Golf Hatchback

Hi
Long time reader, first post. Ordered an A4 Avant on 16th March (1+35) order number received but 6 weeks on (approx) it is still at the first point on the tracker. Was 12-14 weeks delivery time quoted me having my chain yanked by the broker? Or will it suddenly jump along the tracker? Dealer used is Blackburn Audi. Thanks All.

Cars for my Daughter, unfortunately she’s not a great fan of the Cupra, I went in to Lookers VW in Walton to see if the could match/beat the price, young guy was as helpful as a kick in the @@@@@@@
What’s the actual milage needed? Would a Abarth 595 appeal, or is the extra room the Golf gives required? There are some good deals on the Abarth at the moment.
