1.4 CORSA SE ECOFLEX S/S

I've had another Vauxhall before and it was quite a good car.The one for sale here has a very high spec, so was just wondering if anyone has experience of them or knows of a better car to own.

Thanks

Without knowing what you're looking for/budget, it's hard to give an answer.

A Jazz, Fiesta or Yaris would be my choices ahead of a Corsa in that sector and I'd be looking at what ever Hyundai or Kia have to offer too.

I'd be pumping my £6,500 into the nicest 5-door Fiesta I could lay my hands on.

Much nicer to drive than the Corsa, so when you're not ferrying the wife and kids around, it'll put a smile on your face in the corners. thumbup

Family car? How many members to this family? Boot space required?

Fiesta to me is nowhere near enough for family.

The amount of stuff we haul is ridiculous.

For that money, you could have a nice Fiesta/Focus, which would be a much better car, in my opinion.

Thanks guys. I've checked the ones you have suggested on Autotrader and it seems that the Corsa still comes out on top in terms of extras, performance and road tax. The one I'm looking at has front/rear parking sensors, park assist (whatever that is), cruise control, heated front seats, heated windscreen, and heated steering wheel in addition to all the other gizmos. I should definitely be warm enough. lol

I recommend you drive both first.

You mean the Focus/Fiesta as well as the Corsa?

Yes. There is a reason so many people are recommending the Fiesta over the Corsa and it's not to do with the extras. Or to put it another way, there is a reason why the Corsa is cheaper.

We're oaps but occasionally need 4 seats with relatively easy access to the back seats.

The only special option that corsa has is a heated wheel
The corsa is considerably worse to drive than a fiesta, and nothing else is particularly better
The fiesta is a better car
Get a fiesta

I'd possibly say the 1 Series is a consideration, but in reality the Focus/Fiesta are the options to go for. Found this 1 Series that I found pretty nice

Aaron, Where is the BMW? It just appears to be 191 miles from your postal code.
