A what car thread! What quiet, refined, small/medium car
Discussion
Simple as long as you're okay with a medium sized car, it has to be the Lexus IS250 SE/SE-L & you don't have to break the bank to buy one:

I’ve got an M235i, and we also, until recently, had an A3 e-tron. The A3 was much quieter than the BMW, and had a better ride, though I know you posted that your dad had the adaptive suspension on his 140 which would change things I imagine! The BMW has a lovely sounding engine, but quiet it is not. The A3 e-tron, which comes as standard with an acoustic windscreen, is a very relaxing car to drive, and is also pretty quick. A combined 200 BHP from memory. It’s also got a much nicer interior and it’s pretty well equipped. Ours also had an Alcantara/leather interior and a panoramic roof which made it a very nice place to be.Thread here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
