"Smartest" way to buy a Golf R
Discussion
On behalf of my brother this one.
Situation, lives in central London (has a secure underground parking space) hasn't had a car for 7 years.
Fancies something fast ish, fun ish and practical.
Has decided on a 5dr Golf R.
Will do max 5 - 7k miles per year.
Question is, what is the "smartest" way to buy one and not lose your shirt.
Doesn't have to be brand new - the "no-brainer" lease deals (300 quid a month type) seem to have stopped.
Is he better off buying something a couple of years old with "high miles" to buy "cheap" ish and then as he's doing next to no miles he shouldn't lose too much.
OR
are there decent lease deals out there still?
Thanks

More like £354 a month! Why don't folk post amortised price as the above headline looks good until you do the numbers.

BCA auction.
Loads of VW finance end of lease/hatchbacks some bad low spec mostly good reasonable spec.
Take your pick at trade money.
Win win.
Is there anyway to get 'guide pricing' to appear on these listings (web site)?Loads of VW finance end of lease/hatchbacks some bad low spec mostly good reasonable spec.
Take your pick at trade money.
Win win.
I just setup a basic account, found that I can use the pricing filter which does work, but still don't see any pricing appear?
