Hi guys,

Went to my local Jaguar dealer today to look at an E-Pace.
Thing is we need it in the next few weeks so cant order one to spec at that will arrive Dec/Jan.

But we were offered to trade in our Audi A3 Saloon, about a grand in that plus 2k cash deposit.
Then its £365 pcm for 4 years. Brand new with 3 years warranty and 3 years break down cover.
This was for a 2 litre petrol engine 200bhp manual, R Dynamic, heated leather, privacy glass, its sitting around so we could have this next week.

Does this sound like a good deal?

Can anyone beat this price for the same car?
OR for a Tiguan R-line OR an Alfa Stelvio??

Need the car by early Nov.

Many thanks,
There were some ok deals on XF 2.0 (300) or XF 300 sports kicking about but everyone Inspoke to was factory order. In stock seems to be a bit of an issue currently, unless ypu want an M140i!

My 335d goes back at the same time
It is 311/month on a 6+23
Last time I looked (early summer) they were 600/month too on the same terms

Ive gone for the current PH darling V90 although prices of these have allegedly shot up over the weekend, cant help with C class deals but the E220AMG often flirts with the 270-300 bracket and if you can stomach being mistaken for an OAP the Jag XF is cheaper still in shagtastic Portfolio trim

Cheers
Seen a few E300 deals in the £330 territory in the last couple of weeks, AMG line, stock items.

Where? Is that very low mileage?

E220d's seem expensive enough.

Every Merc I have contacted brokers about in the last month has not been in stock. Even though the advert says it is!

Morning all
Sorry i know this is a lease deal forum but i am after lease contract information.
I electronically signed the financial paperwork to lease a vehicle 10 days ago.
I now find myself unexpectedly out of work.
Just weighing up my options but where do I stand cancelling the order at this stage?
I have not paid any fees or deposit at this stage.
I have e-mail the guy i have been dealing with but wanted to get a consensus of what to expect.

Hi all.
Just an update re the above.
A chap was supposed to come back to me Friday but i ended up calling them this morning.
I was told that as they have ordered the vehicle and the dealer had received it they would charge me £500 + the VAT so £600 to cancel it frown
They did say cancelling the finance was no problem but then how would i pay for the vehicle???
Thanks for the advice though.
You have 14 days to cancel. FCA regulations. Did you sign away from their premises. If so even better. Consumer contracts regulations 2013 us your friend. Think distance selling.

Absolutely 100% sure - even the steering wheel stitching will be copper. Seat have been a shower of st releasing details publically but this is what is happening. I’m just glad mine was built a month ago before they brought in the changes. There are going to be some very disgruntled customers collecting their cars over the next few months
Wow if that's the case yeah it will be quite a lot different. More like the Cupra R then in some respects? I dont think the copper will look bad with the right colours but the best colours for the Cupra IMO are mystery blue and desire red and they will both look naff with copper.

Anyone want to take over my Abarth 124 lease?

£219 per month until May 2020. Metallic grey Auto with Heritage Pack....
You don't have PM enabled. Is it even possible to take over lease with Fiat? Have you talked to finance company?

Thanks - that’s not encouraging! the E is too big a car for me, and the XF wasnt great either last time I checked, but might have to revisit if the prices remain so high! Shame as I really like the c-class...

This is going to be the transition from Seat Leon Cupra to the new Cupra brand Leon.
Totally agree on the colours too; I ordered mine back in early June as desire red and was stting myself at the copper bits. I photoshopped all the colour ways with copper accents over on the seatcupra.net forum and it only really worked with black and grey (like the R) and the white too...just. Mystery blue, desire red and eclipse orange looked awful. Seat also quietly dropped eclipse orange over summer and made everyone who ordered an MY18 and waiting in build choose another colour. They also changed monsoon grey to magnetic grey which as it turns out is a more greeny/bluey colour - there was no choice in the matter either!

As said if you have signed any contract you have 14 days to cancel. I cancelled an order after it had been built and before the finance had been signed. I was left with a 360 cancellation fee. Check your contract it will state this if that 600 then you sadly have to suck it up. Bummer but the implications could be far worse if you had taken delivery of the car and your circumstances changed.

23.24p per mile over agreed mileage charge is a bit crappy isn't it!!!?

Hmm.....pretty sure my 3 previous leases were under 10ppm!
On what? A lot of them are going down the route of having massive excess mileage charges, mostly EVs/Hybrids by the looks of it.
A diesel Volvo XC90.

Seems a bit excessive.

It’s in stock. There are much better deals for XC60s if you’re prepared to wait, the OP seemingly can’t. Can you suggest something cheaper and suitable that’s actually in stock?
What ball park and lead time are those deals? Got a friend looking for a small/medium size SUV. Prices seem high at the moment from checking CHL.

I ordered a T5 Momentum two week ago. £314/month, 36 months, 8000 miles/year, £1800 down. Direct from a dealer. Due first week December. Anyone want a 2007 4.8i X5? smile

18 months ago my bro ordered a grey Cupra Black and it turned up white as they had dropped the grey colour - they didn't even bother to tell him never mind ask him what colour he wanted instead. biggrin

At 1+23 £249 he wasn't too concerned, and they gave him some "compensation".

Thanks. I don't suppose you have any idea of rates for higher mileages? I think he wants 12-15k ideally, depending on excess mileage cost.

Which dealer mate? I'm close to pushing the button on a XC60 T5 250 Momentum but would be looking at £440/month based on 3+23 and 10,000 miles. Essentially I'm paying for convenience of it being a stock deal but I wonder if it's worth speaking to your dealership to see if there's anything they can do?
