Anyone looking at Santander - the turn around is fast. Just been quoted end of September/early October for a car ordered last Friday (V60) - In fact, too soon as my A45 is with me till late Oct!

Oh, and my 123 account has still not been asked about (although I opened one in 30 secs last week)

They'll also delay orders, as I've found.

I just wish I could decide how much I actually like the V60 before pulling the trigger. Test drive tonight may sway it.

ITS coming home lads.

Signed up to the 1+17 BMW series 5e deal via total motion. Just need to sign a few finance papers and wait for the build date to be given. Simples. PS the deal has been pulled due to the sheer number of orders.

With Santander can you informally extend for 3 months or do they pull the plug on last day of contract?

Seems a good deal to me in today’s climate

VW Golf 2.0 TSI 310 R 5dr 4MOTION

Just been on the phone to the supplier, can confirm this is a misprice. Their actual price on 1+23 is over £400.

You've dodged a bullet, most stolen car in the UK at the moment, apparently

I’ve done the same. Seems a cracking deal.

Thank you whoever posted it originally.

Morning - just been told the Audi A4 I ordered from Select Car Leasing in April will now not be built until March!!!!!

It was supposed to be beginning of next month, then got pushed back to the end of the month and this morning I’ve been told next year! My current car goes back in November - I was going to do a free early termination - so need to line something up quickly. Supposed to speak with them this afternoon.

Anyone got any ideas why this has happened?

Since I thought the deal was sorted I’ve not been on this forum in a few months - are there any similar deals floating around at the moment?

The deal I had was 1.4 Black edition with tech pack £229 a month for 24 months for 10k miles. £2k upfront.

Can you not keep current car instead of doing early termination?

Strange you found that out today - the A4 production line is on extended holiday and no updates are being sent out according to my dealer. Did Select say they had been given info recently?

I'm pretty sure if your deal is funded by VWFS they will extend your current lease until the car arrives at the same payment. Call them and ask. A few folks have posted the same here previously.

If you've another VWFS car on order they'll do an informal month to month extension at current monthly price for up to 6 months as somebody mentioned previously on this thread. Can be cancelled any time, pro-rata monthly payments.

Extended my R Estate for £215 a month on these terms over the phone to them in about 5 mins. Wish I'd gone for an S4 though but had a Cupra AWD on order. Ordered Feb, estimated delivery in June, no build week yet, probably won't turn up till 2019 if at all.........

There seems to be a lot of this reported on this thread - great prices which then aren't real. Why is that? Do they think that if you pick up the phone for a £300 deal and they say it's £400, you'll still go ahead?

Not sure I'm afraid - best asking Select if it's VWFS funding the new car, if it is, then perhaps speak to VWFS to see if they can do anything.
