Id looked at the XC90 and dismissed it as too spendy, although Im curious to know where your quote came from as if they could do pro rata for 36 months Id be keen to find out more
My own research is for an Inscription
Best leases for this are just under 20k for 3 years and 13k for 2 years
PCP over 4 years with a decent discount from Carwow is a total of 29.5k plus 1.5k for road tax plus whatever Volvo want for a warranty in year 4 so call it 31.5k , which compares terribly with 2x 2y leases - assuming prices stay the same........
If you dont need the space a 530d Touring is currently around 10k for 2 years
And if you do then an SMax Vignale is a tad cheaper, as is the previously mentioned Kodiaq
I'll be a lot calmer when Ive fisted my own Kumquat
Decisions, decisions
Cheers
I am certainly thinking the same at the minute. The offer was on on Whatcar and was with PV dobson. I have requested full details, select car leasing had it for £444pm also (3 47).My own research is for an Inscription

The other half wants the ride height so can't convince her on an estate and wasn't overly keen on the MPV style when we looked at them.

This looks like a decent XC60 T5 Momentum deal, amortised it works out slightly cheaper than the Santander deal at an amortised £384.35 per month (as opposed to £399 per month). You're committing to a 36 month deal rather than an 18 month deal.

Rental Profile: 1+35
Monthly payment: £376.16
Annual Mileage: 10k Miles p/a
Initial Rental: £376.16
Additional Fees: £295.00
TOTAL cost over term: £13,836.76
Amortised monthly: £384.35
23.5% (£9224.40) of RRP (£39,120) over 2 years
Saw this deal the other day, hope it helps. Bit cheaper and should be no fees as direct from Marshall’s Volvo. https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/leasehub/v...

About £500 less but the metallic would probably add that: https://leasing.com/main-dealers/jcb-volkswagen-as...VW Arteon 1.5TSi DSG R Line with Metallic.

During leases I just pop in here and drool over the deals I could have had instead.... lol
That's exactly what I'm doing! Only 18 months to go... I'm still annoyed that the Giulia Veloces came up 6 months too early and quietly hoping they pop up at exactly the right moment next time
Hi,
First-time post, was recommended by someone on HotUKDeals.
After a Seat Leon.
The best offer I have found is £180 pm. 9 + 23 for a 1.8 TSI FR Tech.
Wanted a Cupra really though and the best I found was £220pm. 9+23 (2017 model) 2.0 TSI Cupra 300 DSG.
Ideally, I want a Leon Cupra in Manual. Are these considered good offers or can they be cheaper?
Edit: if someone can recommend alternatives then that would be good as well. The obvious one is the Golf GTI but I see too many Golfs, I want something unique.

You sure you want a manual? DSG under warranty is a thing of beauty, as it is a stunning Auto...
Add all the fees up deposit admin monthly payments, get your total...
Go to drive the deal or car wow (do not go off RRP) get a price to buy the car you want...
The magic number is under 20 percent, I.e you don’t want to be paying more than 20 percent of what you could buy the car for over the 2 years...
Under 25 percent is still ok, over 25 not so much...
Hope that helps

That's not a lease, it's a PCP...
I would hate for people to stop posting "decent" PCP deals here.I was one of the lucky one's who managed to get the Nissan Leaf on a PCP over 2 years for £3k. So what if it is a PCP? If its a good deal then so be it...
If you could get a VW Golf R (holy grail) on a pcp over 2 years for £6k with a £25K balloon payment on the end or hand the car back. Are you going to shoot the messenger or be on the phone to VW ordering one up...
There has been many discussion, on changing the name of this thread to "best deal" but we never went through with it.
Anyway back to the "best way to ""own/"" a new car thread..."
