I would hate for people to stop posting "decent" PCP deals here.

I was one of the lucky one's who managed to get the Nissan Leaf on a PCP over 2 years for £3k. So what if it is a PCP? If its a good deal then so be it...

If you could get a VW Golf R (holy grail) on a pcp over 2 years for £6k with a £25K balloon payment on the end or hand the car back. Are you going to shoot the messenger or be on the phone to VW ordering one up...

You sure you want a manual? DSG under warranty is a thing of beauty, as it is a stunning Auto...

Add all the fees up deposit admin monthly payments, get your total...

Go to drive the deal or car wow (do not go off RRP) get a price to buy the car you want...

The magic number is under 20 percent, I.e you don’t want to be paying more than 20 percent of what you could buy the car for over the 2 years...

Under 25 percent is still ok, over 25 not so much...

Hope that helps
Okay thanks, that helps.

Re Auto/Man

I've always preferred the added labour of driving a manual, takes some of the joy out going Auto and then I worry in 2 years time if I go back to Manual it might be a struggle.

For sure! The new quote received was quite frankly ridiculous!

I slid into a C350e from fast bug to ease the pain slightly and thoroughly enjoying it!

I do miss the leaf though it was a cracking car!

Decent looking V90 deal if of interest: https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/lease-comp...
This does look good. Looks like they're trying to charge for Black Stone paint (free from Volvo) though

What are people's thoughts on using random brokers? Never heard of this one (Lease Price Comparison). Does it matter? I guess the deal is with Volvo's finance arm after all.

Hi all
Looking for an Audi A8 / S Class / 7 Series deal for 2 or 3 years at 20k p.a.
Current car, A8 4.2TDI LWB, up for renewal. All help appreciated.
Thanks
Peter
There were deals for BMW 740 but with 20K miles it will be expensive. Check what's cheaper, deal for more miles or paying excess, but I expect excess to be quite steep on BMW7.
Browse yourself through models and leasing companies: https://leasing.com/personal/car-leasing/bmw/7-ser...

Cheapest one for 10K miles pa seems to be this: https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/tfs-vehicl... so just check if they can quote you for more miles.

Estates not my thing but I think some people have been looking at them so might help.
Found this deal for a Volvo V90 https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/lease-comp...
2.0 D4 Momentum 5dr Geartronic
10k/pa
6+23 x £223.10
Fee £299

Amortised
£6768.90 Total or £282/month

Also
The S60 Saloon in petrol https://leasing.com/main-dealers/ray-chapman-volvo...
T4 [190] SE Nav 4dr [Leather]- Manual
10k/pa
3+23 x £216.03

Amortised
£5616.78 total or £234/month

The S60 works out same if done with 6 months upfront. Not sure what the SE Nav spec is like. Seems to be the outgoing model of the S60, both from pics and also that the spec range has been replaced by Momentum, Inscription and R Design

Hi, new to piston heads so hopefully someone can help.

I am looking at the Volvo XC60 or Mercedes GLC. Has anyone come across any good deals on PCP or lease on either of these?

What's the best deals you've found on them?
Be aware that this isn't a request service.

The problem is that newcomers don't realise this and often receive very sarcastic responses, which is unfair.
There are have been discussions re XC60 variants over the last week, if you look back through recent pages.

There is an XC60 deal from Marshall Volvo if you go to the previous page, and I posted one a couple of pages back. There's also the Santander deal.

I don't want to be rude to a newcomer, but you do have to do *some* of the work yourself! smile

the issue for me with posting PCP deals is that 9 times out of 10 they are not that good, and then we get into the whole philosophical argument about PCP versus lease, and then people starting asking basic questions about PCPs, and then we have this discussion about whether we should or should not accept PCP deals. I think the 'lease deals only' rule was intended as a shorthand for not having to deal with all that crap. No one is going to really kick off if someone posts a really good PCP deal - particularly if the lease for that particular car is nowhere near attractive, however I can honestly say I have never seen that happen, yet.

My view is that its a lot of money to drive a st car

A Volvo XC60 is much cheaper and an XC90 only a few dollars more

But thanks for posting

Same with the Renault Zoe. I jumped in the £109 a month deal with zero deposit a few years back. When it came to the end, I think the best I could get was about £300 pm on the same car!
