Looking for opinions on this deal?

It's from ALD through my work

ALD are calling it CS (credit sale) but looks like PCP to me, the difference they say is - "The payment structure is the same as that of a Personal Contract Purchase, however unlike a Personal Contract Purchase agreement ownership of the car passes to you upon delivery."

It's for an XC40 on these terms....

Volvo - XC40 - 1477 1.5 T3 163hp Inscription Auto FWD 5dr
£28,335.20 | Automatic | Petrol | CO2 147 g/km

Yes and no. Some people haven't been asked if they are, in any case it takes about 5 minutes to open a 123 Lite account.

I've had 1p in mine since I opened it when I bagged my V90. They never asked for proof

I have 1p less in mine, there's supposed to be a £5 per month charge, but I've never paid it.

The leasing thread is where all the hot action seems to be, but does anyone have info on any decent PCP deals currently available on a family estate?

Am opting out of our company car scheme in the next week or so and am handing back a Passat estate. Have access to a runabout (MX-5) and with offspring away at uni can wait until April to acquire a replacement. Is it worth holding off until late March to see if any dealers are struggling to make new plate quota?

Skoda Superb estate on 3.9%, Skoda finance deposit contribution and a fixed price service scheme is currently at the top of my list. Not looked at any SUVs or crossovers.

Hi all,

I am looking for a family SUV - Q5, Disco Sport, X3, XC60 type. My current Tiguan lease is about to be returned.

Looking around i have asked for a quote from drive the deal on Q5's that are being heavily discounted.

Anyone seeing any good deals on the above?

Thanks

any chance you can quote the figures when you get them? my other half's X3 goes back in August, so i need to start thinking about a replacement, i'd seen those Q5s on DTD, though i need a tow bar so probably do a factory order.. 4.0TDI s-line black edition looks much cheaper than the equivalent X3

Great spot! I’m looking for a big car for the family (xc90/q7/X5) but for the 530d price I may well take one of those instead.

Enquired on 530d m sport x drive touring

Quoted 481.35pcm with 1500 deposit, 10k pa, 48 months. 6k dealer contribution and 19k balloon.

sts all over the £566pcm for equivalent pcp arrangement on a q7 with 50td engine, bottom spec sport trim from DTD (their deal price for the car is £46k). £609 for S line trim q7 50td (£51k car after discount, 60 odd list price). Q7 is a lot more car but debating whether to tell the kids to get over it ref space and I’ll have much more of a pleasant time driving it I think. Currently drive a 330d m sport Saloon and the engine has given me an average 48mpg over 70k miles (mostly motorway, prob 80/20 motorway/urban).

Good deal on the A6, that. On PCH it was coming out at about £380 pm with 6 months deposit (10k). Rarely do you see a cheaper PCP. Shame - at those prices I’d take it.

Did drivethedeal tell you this finance? Just been off the phone to them and they said I'm looking north of £450 for the A6, would be really interested at the figures you've posted!

I was using the Audi finance calculator with the figures from DTD on the A6 40 TDI Sport (Tech Pack).

So DTD had £15,264 discount with 6k of that Audi contribution, stick into the Audi calculator for that model a £11,264 deposit (so covers the DTD discount plus £2k deposit) and that gives £253 a month.

However as they dont list the tech pack variant i then took away the tech pack cost from the deposit to give those figures.

Not quite sure how they have got over £450 a month based on 36 months, 8k mpa and £2k deposit for a £27k car with Audi saying GMFV of £17,846.25.

I've never been quoted on a PCP deal that looks good value, the interest rates are always appalling making any discounts/dealer contribution negligible...

I really don't understand how they're allowed to make such outrageous profits.

This is slightly better than the 530d Msport deals posted earlier:

https://www.sytner.co.uk/bmw/new-offers/5-series-p...

£17.2k discount on a £50.6k car - so about 34% discount!

Plus a decent 3.9% APR

Just for reference, they can do the deal (sort of) on a touring, but the touring carries a premium vs saloon so you need to up the deposit. Instead of 399 deposit and 399pcm, you need 2000 deposit and 397pcm. Or 1500 deposit and 408pcm. Also note it’s the rwd not xdrive variant and is supposed to be for feb collection (deal is on 69 plates) but I blagged a 2020 plate March delivery under the terms just stated.

Ordering mine tomorrow to secure the build slot. 1k over the phone needed to secure.
