I think some people are in denial. It's pretty obvious that the team that spends the most money usually wins it or does very well at least. Liverpool being the perfect case in point, they've gone from mid table fodder to title contenders by spending a st load of money.

I'm more suprised we have done so well considering we've spent fk all.

True but a shiny new stadium doesn't improve your team as you well know, at least in the short term. The long term hope is that the revenue may help us to compete for better players.
