People use RRP or discounted price for comparison, whichever they think is more real.
You can use which ever method suits you best. Discounted RRP generally works out better when comparing against different purchase types, e.g. PCP v PCH v LOAN.
However the general consensus on here for comparison of lease deals is MRRP. It’s not that important whether it’s a true cost comparison, more that a consistent approach to the variables is applied.

My Dad is looking at a VW Touareg, 3+23, £436, 8k pa.

https://leasing.com/main-dealers/jct600-volkswagen...

Seems a half decent price at 22% of rrp and 25% of the discounted finance price via coast2coast.
Anyone seen better recently or anything else 4x4 of a similar size that he should consider?

Ultimately whichever you use it's essentially a tool for the accountant in you to make a decision.

If you are after a certain type of car then it's likely you narrow it down to a few, ideally test drive and then it's about which you like most and how it prices up against the others.

Eg I like that car but do I like it more than the other one to pay £40 more.

Thanks for sharing, this is quite worrying. I got a call from Paul at Pink late on Thursday to say my approval had come through from funder and he was now going on leave and back next Tuesday, when he'd send across papers for me to sign. Something about this deal from the beginning has been making me paranoid, the old 'if it looks too good to be true...' springs to mind.

I'm in same pickle - stick with it or give it up and look elsewhere?
Not true the finance is thru Creation, I can see the hard credit check on my file. Paul has doner everything he promised and I had all the final forms sent over on Thursday like he said. At the bottom it says "Pink vehicle leasing is a trading style of TM Ltd, Southpoint House, Meridian Business Park, Leicester, LE191WP" my car is due end of September. Despite taking longer than expected and a thorough credit check and bank statements, I have no doubt that this will happen.
Thank you for the further information Peter. I agree Paul has been great throughout, as I've noted in previous posts.

On Creation Finance, they seem like they might come with their own issues https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.creation.co.u...

My main concern is that this is such a good deal on the car, that there is a sting in the tail somewhere along the line which will cost me. I suppose that is the risk one takes with any lease deal!

oh ok, doesn't really belong here then i reckon.
You asked and I replied. I am not a member and have ordered my car from there after sending a single online enquiry. If you are not interested, then why ask?
if there is a way of accessing the deals when not a member then of course i am interested. If it was (as it appeared, and purports to be) some stupid members' club where virtually no one on here can access because it depends on your employer, then no it does not belong on here. I am glad it is the former. Maybe now you understand what i meant.

The petrol is more powerful and cheaper - though the extra fuel cost would negate the saving on the lease, so it would depend if he was interested in the extra power (potentially more refined too) https://leasing.com/main-dealers/vertu-volkswagen/...

I am looking for a mid sized SUV to replace our current Tiguan R Line lease. Looking closely at Q5's. Best deal i can see is not great tbh:

40TDI Quattro S-Line S-Tronic with Tech Pack

Deposit - £3395
Monthly - £377
8k miles

Has anyone seen anything decent for this size SUV - also considering Land Rover Discovery Sport and F-Pace.

Thanks!

Did you actually make an enquiry? And did they tell you it was a member's only club? If so then fair enough.

I have no connection to these people either via my employer or otherwise. Earlier on, in this very thread, someone else mentioned them and all I did was send an enquiry. Which they promptly answered. Try them and see what happens?

Hope I’m not mistaken but you guys are talking about affinity. If so, I rang them and was told they do personal leasing but require applicants to be an employee of one of the companies they work with (I was asked for my company name).

I may have misunderstood but that’s what I got from them.

Hi, new to leasing and new to this forum. Been looking at what appears to be a good deal I've spotted on jetvehiclefinance.co.uk and was wondering if anyone had used them and would recommend them?

Thanks in advance

Hi mate, I've just ordered an astra with jet vehicle finance. They seem ok so far. Just waiting for a delivery date. The deal seems really good. Good luck!

what % is that because to be honest none of the deals on these or the other VAG equivalents i have seen recently are actually very good at all when you map it all out.
Pretty ropy, something like 40%. The problem I have is that I have to have 20k miles due to the amount of driving I do and a budget or £300 tops. Also need an estate, but the wife prefers an SUV and there's naff all out there for a decentish spec.

Yup, they're all good! I used them 4 years ago for a Sportage deal they had. No issues, delivery was good. They used Wessex Garages for the car and the credit company was ALD.

it requires a code to access any deals. The code, i was told on here, was obtained from your employer or through other scheme which is not open access. Someone said oh you can call them and get access to deals. Someone else said you can call them but they ask for a membership info. What is so hard to understand, it doesn't sound useful.

Motorfinity leasing offer a "blue light discount" but TBH when i've looked they are all over priced anyway. Here is their blurb from the offer:

"Price Match Promise - Motorfinity exists to offer it’s specialist customers access to the best value and service in the market. Our confidence in this market enables us to offer a Price Match Promise – If you can find a genuine, cheaper, like-for-like quote, and, in the unlikely event, we can’t at least match it, we will present you with a £50 high street voucher, as soon as we receive proof of your lease with an alternative supplier. This ensures that Motorfinity customers have access to the best value in the market place.

Further, going beyond this, Motorfinity Leasing customers always get that something extra special. Each customer will not have to pay the standard £199 admin fee charged by our leasing partner. This is exclusive to Motorfinity Leasing customers and represents further enhanced value."

When you go to their site it is exactly the same as the leasing options website (i assume same company) so perhaps better to start there anyway

When you login to your NHS employee portal it gives you the details of the car companies assigned to your trust.

The Velar Pink leasing deal is through Total Motion, someone has posted this on a google review and they’ve responded to say they are not part of TM Ltd. I’ve received the finance docs and it says that Pink leasing is a trading name of TM Ltd - clearly trying to hide something there.

The finance funding company is through Arval and they have requested a shed load of financial documents/ evidence, even after the finance had apparently been approved.

Loads of negative reviews and horror stories on trust pilot that they charge you thousands for damage when they send their appointed inspectors Manheim to come and pick up and do the end of lease inspection!

In a dilemma now as the deal is good but don’t want to get bent over when handing it back!

I'll take it if you decide against it.
