Is it worth getting the additional service schedule along with my lease from volvo? They are offering it for £399 over my 3 year lease. It includes replacement of worn tires.
Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post
Had a 1st service on our XC90 which we got for £250, but that was with a large discount. I would say £399 over 3 years and including tyres is a no brainer, especially if it covers punctures as well.Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post
Quick question for anyone that has leased a VW. My wife has a Tiguan due for return soon with VWFS. Two of the alloys are significantly scuffed and has been quoted £140 per wheel to repair at an independent garage.
Question - has anyone that has returned a car with scuffed alloys been quoted the VW fix price per wheel? If it is cheaper then will just pay the charge when returning the instead of repairing beforehand.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Leave them as they are - £36 p/wheel (if you get charged)Question - has anyone that has returned a car with scuffed alloys been quoted the VW fix price per wheel? If it is cheaper then will just pay the charge when returning the instead of repairing beforehand.

£140 is a very high price for a wheel refurb - are they really bad? I think the VW damages scale is for more 'normal' scuffing, not if the wheels are wrecked.karlak said:

I said a few pages back about ways it may be possible to get far cheaper, don't want to keep mentioning companies or I'll be flagged as a shill or something but my S90's first service was £98.88 + loan car, from a Volvo dealer.Denno B said:

Interesting choice to replace a veloce with the v90. I'm sure practical reasons have taken precedent but surely you'll miss the power and handling of the veloce?
Chase the deal, not the car.For the past 6 months I was set on buying something for 20-25k ish, as deals seemed to have dried up. However this plan involved selling my ND mx5 (that I own outright) to help fund the one car.
Would have probably been a jag XEs or a veloce and they would have made a great compromise of fun and practicality - but just that, a compromise. The veloce is fun, but the mx5 is better in that regard.
The Mx5 & v90 will cover all basis and should mean I can enjoy the merits of both more. Just wish Alfa did a Giulia estate!

Pretty much this. I have done this both times I leased, I was just lucky the Giulia was also a car I really wanted.

Don’t sweat it. I’ve just come out of an S4 in to an S90. You’ll just spend the first few days wondering where al the tts in golf Rs and S3s who wanted to race you have gone. Just weighing up the following 2 cars both on 6+23 at 8000
A4 avant 40tfsi black edition s tronic
£2207 and £369
Can get this in a pcp with a rrp minus discount of £32000
Or
A6 avant 45tfsi Quattro sport s tronic
£1100 and £369
Not sure if either are hugely great deals to be fair but really struggling to find something with space and a sensible price. I have a feeling to hold off on the A4 as prices may begin to tumble.
You might be right, I've had my eye on the normal A4's but not estates but they seem to be going really cheap alreadyA4 avant 40tfsi black edition s tronic

Absolute steal of a price. There are 2 left in stock so I believe, only in red.
I almost FTK this morning but I'd only really settle for the SE or HSE, the alloys on the S aren't that great either, but everything else about it is a bargain.
Just a word of warning for anyone thinking of using v4b, not a good experience.https://www.v4b.co.uk/car-leasing/jaguar/xe_saloon...

Ordered a vehicle, waited 5 months and then to be told no slot/vehicle. Comm's were poor too during the wait too.

Ooof. That's excellent!
I think I am going to look into that a bit more, can you pick any date for delivery?FWIW I have pinged off an enquiry. My V90 goes back in April but it says factory order so you never know what the lead time is.
