Weve never had a Merc before, how often would it need servicing & I am lead to believe on a lease it has to be through a Merc dealership, do you know if this is correct ?
If it's funded by MBFS then yes, if it's not you'd need to check with the funder to be sure

Funder isn't MBFS, But said it needs to be MB for servicing due to the cars going back in to approved network at end of lease.

Did you get that deal as an existing Audi finance customer? I saw a deal come up in my feed similar to that but you had to be a renewing audi customer within the next 12 months.

The 3 year quote I got had maintenance ( no tyres ) and works out £293.34 pm amortised.

The 2 year deal is £290.30 pm but then maintenance on top so £323.30 ( that HUKD Maintenance price did include tyres though )

I’m a fan of 2 year deals, but £30 cheaper PM for keeping it for a extra year is tempting especially as it’s such a nice car to be in.

Decisions ! Decisions !

Some advice guys - first lease nerves kicking in!

I signed up for the Pink Leasing Mercedes a180d AMG Line deal - 8000 miles 1+11 @ £212/month. Cars were registered end of March so will need a service just before returning at a cost of £274. I work out total cost as £2818 or £235/month. Sending back a month early won't save much since service cost is not that much more than monthly cost.

The 2 year a250 AMG Line premium apparently works out as £290/month. On a 2 year deal I reckon the second service can easily be avoided so I will factor in only one service (£274) which brings the monthly average cost to £301/month.

Conflicted over the performance benefits and benefits of the premium pack....is the a250 worth the extra £66/month over 2 years? Just looking for best bang for buck.

Thanks

I was contemplating the same thing as I am awaiting delivery of my A180d and if I didn't need a car ASAP then I probably would switch.

I think I read the HUKD to quick. 3 year with maintenance is definitely the best of them

You should check the paperwork for a cancellation penalty. From memory the penalty on my lease with Total Motion aka Pink Leasing (BMW the funder was Close Bothers) was £600.

I'm still within 14 days of signing so as far as I understand it nothing is chargeable within cooling off period.

Good evening, been looking at what appears to be a great deal on a Seat Leon FR Sport 1.5 TFSI - 15k miles. 24 months, 6 months down and £220 per month.
I can’t seem to see anything cheaper, anyone think this is a decent deal?
Thanks in advance

As is customary for this thread, pics of my XF Sportbrake from December’s 1stChoice deal (and all the drama that came with it!). In short: Car originally optioned with Caesium Blue metallic (only extra), and black leather interior. Almost lost the deal altogether due to no orders being placed. Dealership eventually sourced me a Santorini Black (metallic), with Oyster white leather which also happened to have privacy glass - I got this for no extra cost.

Despite the spec differences, the car is fantastic and a very good deal imo. For those who like to know: £276 on 3+23, 5k/annum.

From memory the FR has the following compared to the SE Dynamic

Sports Seats
15mm lower sports suspension
Different bumpers
flat bottom steering wheel
LED lights
Visible twin exhaust
Auto lights/wipers
Dual climate

I ordered an SE Dynamic 1.5 in Mid February on a 6+23 £149 10k agreement and was told I would have by the end of June. When I called Seat UK with the build number a few weeks ago I was told the provisional build date was July 1st. As the factory is closed for a month in July/August I hold out little hope of getting a car before September. If a good deal for an in stock car comes along (like the £199 A class) I will go for that and cancel the Seat as the wait is crazy/

Strangely when I enquired at another dealer after I ordered the SE Dynamic I was told I could have an FR much quicker, also Cupra orders seem to be delivered way quicker.

Weird.

Cant say much about SE Dynamic Vs FR but I suspect 1.5l engines are in higher demand than the 2.0 in the Cupra. Also w.r.t. engines there could have been a stock built up on the 2.0 with Golf R, S3 and Cupra being out of production for a while prior to getting new homologation in place.

Looks great but I'd be paranoid with light seats. Gave up on the "no eating in the car" rule when I found crumbs under the kiddie seat anyway. laugh
