£263.98 per month
8,000 miles per anu
Excess Mileaga 6.6ppm

What do you think?
Did you get that deal as an existing Audi finance customer? I saw a deal come up in my feed similar to that but you had to be a renewing audi customer within the next 12 months.
This was a new deal which was emailed to me from motorlet

Day before delivery got an email saying there's an issue with one of the headlamps.... hopefully not a long wait..
Hope it goes well, looking forward to the pics. I might go for the C43 or GLC Coupe 43 to replace the S5 in a few months.

Some advice guys - first lease nerves kicking in!

I signed up for the Pink Leasing Mercedes a180d AMG Line deal - 8000 miles 1+11 @ £212/month. Cars were registered end of March so will need a service just before returning at a cost of £274. I work out total cost as £2818 or £235/month. Sending back a month early won't save much since service cost is not that much more than monthly cost.

The 2 year a250 AMG Line premium apparently works out as £290/month. On a 2 year deal I reckon the second service can easily be avoided so I will factor in only one service (£274) which brings the monthly average cost to £301/month.

Conflicted over the performance benefits and benefits of the premium pack....is the a250 worth the extra £66/month over 2 years? Just looking for best bang for buck.

Thanks
Depends how much £66 a month is worth to you.
For me being close to £200 a month was the ‘awesome deal territory’ that had me pushing the button.

At £300 a month I’d probably be looking at the Volvo deals etc.

Once you’re in your a180d you’re unlikely to miss stuff you haven’t got and maybe just do something fun with £66 a month or £720 odd a year!!

I'm sticking with my £199 deal. I already have a 'fun car' so the Merc is literally just going to be a work horse for the colder months, which is great considering the mpg the little diesel will get us.

BUT this is Pistonheads, so if I didn't have my fun car and this was going to be my only car (and it wasn't too late) I would have swapped over to this new deal because:

10" screens look significantly better
The 64 colour lighting looks amazing
Loads of other cool stuff that you get in the premium pack
220bhp vs 110bhp...!
2 years vs. 1 year. (This isn't clear cut as to what is better, for me 1 year is ideal as I get bored very quickly but some people prefer much longer leases)

At the end of the day, the 1 year £199 deal is still an amazing deal. I wouldn't have even signed up if it had been longer/more expensive as wasn't looking to replace my Jag any time soon but it was too good to miss. No other way to drive a brand new £28k Merc for the most expensive year of it's life and only pay £2400 in depreciation... I also worked out 8k miles at 60mpg vs. 30mpg (my current daily jag's mpg) is about £600, so man maths brings the lease down to £1800 for me

If it helps, they both look the same from the outside!?

Looking to cancel a leasing options order we put in around 2 weeks ago. Thinking we’re going to lose our processing fee but was wondering how others had got on with leasing options.

Tempted by the A250 deal but can't help but feel like it would be a downgrade, coming from a Mk7.5 Golf GTI...

Just as quick, far nicer interior and far better tech (the 2 10" screens + MBUX are very impressive). Probably not as much fun to drive but all in I don't think you'd be disappointed personally.

Isn't the 250 the equivalent model?

Yeah but I suppose it's down to what you value in a car, the A class is a wafty comfortable hatchback with better kit etc. but it isn't up to snuff in terms of fun factor and driving dynamics... Decisions!

Nice deal!
What's the xs mileage rate?
A fairly hefty 21ppm or thereabouts. Contract with Lex Autolease - hoping they might offer more favourable rates for increasing contracted mileage. Don’t suppose anyone has experience of this with Jaguar Contract Hire / Lex Autolease?

I saw this and thought it looked a decent deal, a enticing low excess mileage charge as well, but I suppose the A6 can handle that! I take it that is +Vat?

Now I've ordered my husbands BMW, I was looking for myself. I've decided to go for the Mercedes deal with Arnold Clarke. After speaking to Colin he is really pushing me to go with the maintenance as follows :-

Mercedes A Class A180 AMG Line Executive 5dr Hatch
3+35
6k per year
without maintenance £208.39p.m.
with maintenance £242.54p.m.

With such a low mileage do I really need the maintenance, how often would I need to have it serviced ? yes, im aware of the other extras it includes but based on the fact I currently have a Kia Sportage on a maintained contract, had 2 x services and thats it nothing else. Is the extra £1200 worth it ?
Mercedes are serviced annually regardless of how low the mileage is so best thing to do is find out the cost of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year service (you might get away without doing the last one). That maintenance cost adds £409.80 per year. If that only covers servicing then that is not a good deal as 2 of those services will be smaller ones and should be no more than £250 at the MB dealer

Can’t see it either. May be best to call the dealer Mercedes of Perth?

There's a bit of Mercedes A Class hatch / servicing talk on here -

Just a reminder for people - if you get one on lease and it's funded by MBFS then you get 3x free services included. That offer has been on since Jan 19. I think it's currently valid for deals registered before end of June.

Ah very interesting!

The deal via Pink Leasing/Total Motion - is MBFS the funder or is it Close Brothers?

Probably for the same reasons advertised PCPs moved from 3 to 4 years a few years ago, headline monthly figures.
