By membership I think they mean your employer uses 'Xexex' to host there employee discount site. Xexex seem to be some third party company who host employee discounts sites and it looks like most companies using them get the same discounts, Deutsche Bank seem to use them googling and other banks.

My phone call to Affinity went :

Me : Hi I'm interested in the A4 deal I see on Xexex whats the best price.
Them : Who do you work for ?
Me : I work for x
Them : Ok this is what I have and this is the quote.
Me : Ok thanks I will proceed.

The application form did ask for my employers detail but not sure if they cross check that.

May be prices for what's left gone up, never know what they tell you, as I was told only white cars where as others at the same time were told other colors available.

Is it me or are those deals not exactly great?
i dunno who the guy is that posted these deals and maybe he's been up front about who he works for etc, but he's another who only joined recently, has only ever posted in this thread, and looks to be posting what could well be adverts.
Not a great advert, ste deals.
yea but this is what happens when someone comes along pushing a particular broker. They tend not to be able to stand up.

Nope. I'm a lurker, just responding to a request about Affinity A3 deals, because my employer has xexec benefits.

Looking to lease next year some time after some house stuff gets done (it's never ending, I know).

The new Octavia was just announced right? I imagine offers for old shape are starting?

The company I have been speaking with have quoted me on the non Challenge model for £211 per month with £1899 upfront over 2 years with 8000 miles per year. They have said they have 1 left in White but do have others available with options.
https://www.discovercarleasing.co.uk/personal-leas...
Not sure if I go with this, or pay an extra £60 and go for the Challenge, any advice please?

That's what I was thinking. VRS is still a bit of a ways off though. Maybe I'll see what happens in December.

Challenge has quite a few extra's over the normy VRS. Not least of which are those sick wheels(Love them)!

I'm gonna go to my local dealer at the weekend and see if they have both models to see, hopefully they can match the price also!

That's what I thought. I know we shouldn't compare old deals to new ones but my current 245 Octy hatch DSG was £2,400 up front and £165 per month. I've been very impressed with it but wouldn't pay over £100 more per month.

Edit to add, this deal found via Cars2Buy looks better value: https://www.cars2buy.co.uk/car-lease-enquiry/388/2...

245 hatch, DSG, black pack: c. £1k up front, £260 per month, 8k miles PA

I’d have one of these if they’re still available. Do you have details of how to get the deal?

This is a really good deal. I was one of the people looking at M240i offers but it turns out the insurance is a bit of a nightmare for me so the RWD dream has been pushed back. Onto i30Ns now!

This is roughly £140 cheaper over the term, and a lower initial deposit:

29% of list (£30k) not even at 10k mpa. Oof. I'd steer well clear personally.

Haven’t seen any lease deals but i did get an email from a dealer offering in stock brand new cars at massively reduced prices eg £12k off a Tiguan (34k down to 22k). No mention of T-Rocs Dealer is Robinson’s.
