Can I ask What are people’s thoughts on this?

Skoda Karoq
1.5 TSI Sport Line 5dr DSG

£2063 down
£229 pm on 8k over 24months
£198 admin fee

Says they are in stock - manual version is £220pm

Wasn’t in the market for an suv type but been to look at one of these and they’re impressive!

Cheers

Synergy leasing have a few 3 door Golf 245 Gti’s in stock.
£2432.74 initial
£202.73 x 23
£180 fee
5k per annum.

Not the cheapest but might suit someone whose looking for a hot hatch in stock.
That' a 100 / month more than the old deals, still, don't think its a bad deal and will suit many.

Quick question. New lease car delivery on 13/12 (3008). BCA can only pick up the Karoq on 23/12. I normally swap on the same day and change the car with Aviva online at no cost. What are my options for the 10 days that we will have both cars on the driveway in terms of insurance?
I guess you could either get temporary / short-term insurance for Karoq or delcare it off road so you don't have to insure it.
Admittedly small chance, but what if it gets nicked? Think for the sake of a few quid, i'd just ask Aviva to cover both for 10 days. My Dad recently did it with his insurer for a 4 day overlap and it was ~£20. Or see if you can delay the 3008 delivery.

New to the leasing game and about to go ahead with a deal for a bmw 420i M sport grand coupe with standard spec just adding metallic and tints upfront on a 1+23 @ 279£ and 8k year.
This is through bmw main dealer and I was just wondering as they want 1k as a deposit to order the car, is this standard?
Think you might need to double check that. I’ve just done a similar deal with Dick Lovett BMW Bristol and it was £1000 initial plus 23

Mine is being delivered next Friday. I’m changing from a Leon Cupra so expecting a shock but I do like the spec these come with. Wouldn’t touch the manual version, so many reports of people having issues with ‘kangarooing’. Have a google.

I expect this is the deal from Oxford. If so then yes it’s correct. 1k deposit which they refund you when you take delivery.

If this is via Oxford then yes it’s fine. The paperwork confirms they refund the 1k deposit minus whatever the first payment is when you take delivery. When they first started taking orders in Oxford they were not taking a 1k deposit but as soon as the deal blew up through being posted on various forums they added it to cut the time wasters.

As a serial shedist, I am getting more and more tempted by this. In stock and £3500 over 2 years, to be honest it almost sounds too good to be true.....

It's a decent, no thrill car. Might be a bit slow with 95bhp engine. There's review on Carwow https://www.carwow.co.uk/skoda/scala#nav

The dealer is Marshall’s bmw Shorpe, I quoted the Oxford bmw deal and they matched it.
1+23 @ 279/month
Ordered metallic + tints 985£
8k per year mileage
Delivery March

I think they may have a couple of build slots left.
