I am now collecting my 420i on Friday instead of Saturday. I now have the number plate. I will be sorting the insurance. This is my first lease. Is there anything else I need to do? Someone mentioned GAP insurance.

Ahh what a relief!
it's cheaper to go for 5k mileage and pay the extra (I got a quote for 5, 8, 10 and 15k to check).

In total my deal is:
Initial - £1314.72
Monthly - £219.12
Xs mileage - 9.47ppm

As a final note did anyone enquire about maintenance? I'm going to need to service it twice due to mileage and likely need tyres so would probably work out in my favour?
Make sure you are aware of what the maintenance costs go up by when you do lots of excess miles. Sometimes the additional rates on the maintenance per mile can be significant.

Just waiting for my finance to go through on this:

Volvo V90 T4 Momentum Plus G-tronic, metallic paint
3+23 6k miles @ £246 inc. vat
£360 admin fee (stings a bit....)

Think that comes out at £280.57 amortised. VehicleSavers.com if anyone's interested.

Just sorted a 3 + 23 on the DSG version for around £285 per month, so it doesnt seem a mile out for the extra year (albeit you might be in for tyres and 2 services over the 36 month period)
Who was that with pal?
Found it on the last day of October, Ventu leasing, via Leasing.com.
They’re a main dealer so no admin fee
It's cheaper £325 over the term with the quote I posted. Pretty sure it's still available. Found it on leaseloco, via jet vehicle finance.

Vertu don't charge cancellation fee. I just canceled an order with them. After 14 days cooling off.

Depends how big your initial payment was - small, don't bother, big, probably.

I’ve gone Daytona grey in the avant, personally think it’s the best and most forgiving colour.

Only thing I’m not a huge fan of on the black edition is the wheels , much prefer these.

Ah nice! I took some pictures of a black 2020 Avant the other day at the garage, if I can work out how to host them I’ll post them up on the other thread.

Grey is a better and easier colour true, but current Golf is Indium grey, so fancied a change and having second thoughts on colour choice now... ha.

Those wheels are much nicer. The black edition rims don’t seem to have changed over the years.

I went for Ibis white as at time told there weren't other colours though I was one of first in, didn't really want white now pretty sure I can't live with white, its a bit to showy for me I prefer dark colours, also already getting jokes made about when my new 'Taxi' arriving lol, starting to think I will regret white. I also noticed on the 2020 pics of the black edition in white the strips on the bottom of the door external side are now white and not black which makes it look a bit crapper than 2019 model. Anyone else had white before and weren't sure about it - did you get used to it in the end ?

GAP is like any insurance policy. You probably won’t need to use it (claim) but you should look at what it offers, what it costs, decide whether it’s worth it / your risk appetite. I wouldn’t bother.

I'm waiting on a call back from underwriters about a very similar deal from a different supplier. Do you know if that's a stock car or from factory? And what the lead time is?

I believe it's stock - I've been quoted 3-4 weeks delivery time.

I originally went through RGW but they didn't get back to me (still haven't) with paperwork and were about £60 more over the whole term. Not much but no point chucking it away!

Hi Guys, first post here.

Seat UK have let me down with the Cupra Lux I ordered in August. After expecting a 14 week lead I have now been told my car will not even be built until week 8, meaning I won’t have a car until April.

Currently without the car so without going through 1000 pages does anybody know any decent stock/December deals.

£1000 down max £300pm 10k 24m.

Thank you

Just signed the Zen Auto deal for the Cupra in midnight black. I thought the Cupra deal on here two years ago was good, this one is even better considering it's DSG, digital cockpit, and slightly cheaper. I signed up to both deals all because of this forum, god bless PistonHeads biggrin

BWM 4 Series Gran Coupe M-Sport deal is still pretty decent and fits your criteria

Might be cheaper elsewhere but these have been knocking about for a few weeks now

Actually this is cheaper but based on 8k, might be able to negotiate 10k

With all due repsect, thats just £13 a month saved over the term (or 4 Starbucks coffees a month), so I'm happy to stay with what we have for the sake of the potential hassle.
If I wa worried about £13 a month, I wouldnt be leasing a new car smile
