Morning all

I have been looking for an A-class but I am really struggling to find a good deal for an auto.

I did come across the following deal on a Leon Cupra 2.0 TSI 290 (EZ) DSG Lease (only hiccup is there aren't heated seats - believe it or not this is a big deal for me with back discomfort!)

8K miles p/a
£788 initial payment
£262 x 23 payments
£198 admin fee
Total price £7,012
includes metallic paint (believe it's in stock)

Not sure if the above is a good deal considering the new cupra leon just got announced yesterday (looks nice imo).

I need a car ASAP as I am driving around an old banger after my car was written off in an accident.

I am discovering that I am quite indecisive and can't seem to pull the trigger on anything. Any comments would be welcomed smile
The above is a good deal mainly because the new one is out soon, outgoing models get a discount and are what you're after for a cheap lease deal. Regarding the seats, have you enquired whether they have any Lux models available? They come with heated seats and a few other goodies over the standard Cupra.
Thanks for your input.

Unfortunately the lux is quite a bit extra probably over £1,500 more over the two years and I can't seem to find stock anywhere, all factory ordered but again it's difficult to know when to hang on and wait for a better deal only for the existing one to sell out and then you're stuck again. All good fun smile

Spotted a Tourer Cupra R 300 ST DSG in stock with heated seats but hell of a lot more.

Incidentally I agree with you about the heated seats being an issue, not for back or other issues, but simply spending time in v cold parts. Give me heated f&r seats, heated windscreen, heated steering wheel, and washers then cloud9

Has anyone had a vehicle through CarLeasing-online, I'm being messed about by them!

I signed all the paperwork three weeks ago for an estimated delivery of April/May but having done a bit of digging the vehicle order hasn't even been accepted with the factory! so that date is pie in the sky

vehicle on order is an Audi A4 Avant Tfsi35 Black edition with the comfort and sound pack.

When I was looking into the deal, I found that CarLeasing-Online are brokering the deal back to Affinity Leasing who are then ordering directly with a main dealer, its very messy

I’ve ordered the exact same car and spec directly via affinity, no updates at all since end October.

When I’ve enquired recently as this morning the response is the same, no build slots allocated or available.

I believe Norwich Audi are the supplying dealer contact them to ask.

Yeah Norwich Audi are the supplying dealer, but when I called them they didn't want to know, the lady in the fleet department is called Helen, she gave me all the rite information on the phone to keep me happy when I eventually was able to speak with her.

However she promised to to call me back with an update but all that followed was an email from Carleasing-Online stating that I should contact them for updates in the future and how did I manage to locate the dealer!

If you haven't already done so register at https://www.audi.co.uk/account/login.html#/account... and enter your order number if you have been given one, this is Audi's own customer vehicle tracking.

My order showed the rite car but the wrong colour when I logged in which is why I started doing a bit of digging, I have had a head ache ever since.

My current Audi lease goes back on the 18th April and I'm being chased daily from BCA now so it's very frustrating when I cant get any straight answers from Carleasing-Online furious

I don’t have an order number only affinity tracking number. I’ve got the hump with it to be honest I’m getting a quote from a dealer with stock vehicles who believes he’ll match or better this deal.

Although this will give rise to complaints about this thread is just supposed to be about leasing deals and nothing else, some of these posts around issues where folks are coming to the end of their lease and can't find a replacement or issues around timing is just putting me off somewhat.

Beginning to realise have been sheltered from reality with the years of company vehicles, if there was any timing issues either you were extended, or given a spare / pool / manufacturer demo vehicle that we always had sitting around. Once had a very decent loan vehicle for nearly a year, quite sad to see it go.

Let me know if you get the deal matched direct with a dealer as I have given them until next week to produce a build week or I'm going to cancel.

When do the offers come out for vehicles for June delivery. I have the infamous BMW series 530e from total motion which is due for a return.
I have one too and decided to take up their offer of an informal extension on the same terms until something decent comes along. Great cars but the electric mileage is predictably awful (10-12 miles max)

I've also had nearly 10 years of company cars. Personal lease is little different. The main difference is you have to do the work and there are many more choices. The things you mention apply in both situations. It's just you previously never knew about it. You can always buy a car of get something on longer term rental from a car hire place.

Looking for some input from those more experienced than I in the leasing game.

Ordered a new lease and paid the document fee around 3 weeks ago.

Have just found out I'm up for redundancy so contacted the leasing company, explained my situation and asked to cancel the vehicle.

This vehicle has not entered into build yet (due in June / July) and they have been unable to provide me with a vehicle order form confirming it has been ordered despite a few requests.

They are now chasing me for a £420 cancellation fee (which was in their T&C).

Do I have any grounds to dispute this fee given the vehicle hasn't been ordered, built or due any time soon?

Would rather not have this additional outlay given the job situation.

Thanks in advance.
Sorry to hear about your redudnacy. If they won't budge with the cancellation fee I'd leave the car on order on the chance you get a new job soon. If they charge you the £420 whether it's built or not let them build it then if you still don't have a job by June/July cancel it. You'll be no worse off than cancelling it now?

Could also be worth mentioning this to your broker and how it could be more convenient for them to make the car available other customers sooner rather than waiting until just before the car arrives to have to rush a sale or risk being stuck with the car.

A relation is looking at a Seat Arona (se manual). Initial of £681 down and 35 payments of £201 (plus vat) based on 10,00 miles / year for maintenance.

Not sure it is a great deal, especially as they have leased a DSG version of the car for the last 2 years at a much lower rate.

There is a £180 admin fee, plus a second £120 admin fee for the maintenance, is that normal?

Have asked Audi for an informal extension until your new Audi arrives? You'll carry on paying the same monthlies.

Or, you can contractually extend for a further year or two years (often at a discounted rate) on your current Audi for a maximum term of four years.

For these options speak to VW Financial services
