My current Tiguan is coming to the end of its PCP term so need to see what top get next

Choices are:

Another Tiguan (can maybe stretch to the R line one)

BMW X2

Volvo XC40

I've pretty much discounted all others such as Nissan, Mazda but maybe Audi Q2/Q3

any recommendations? The BMW worries me slightly that it won't be big enough compared to the Tiguan.

For 30k I’d go for a nearly new x3. 2019 cars are sub 30k now

Have you considered the Lexus UX250h (new) or NX300h (lightly used)?

haven't considered those

I've always tended to go new to get a good low rate on a PCP

Can you get a good pcp deal on a used car?

I like the idea of a 12 month old x3 but the new x2 you can get on 4.9% I think it is and when I've looked at used before it's been over 10% APR

You could always get a bank loan for a used model.

BMW AUC finance can be negotiated down to about 6%, if the dealer is suitably motivated to do so.

XC40 is very well reviewed.
Have you considered a new RAV4? Hybrid and punchy engine.
I quite like the look of the DS7.
I have an XTrail, wouldn’t have another - pretty dated.
Skoda have a few options that are good.
Seat Ateca is well reviewed - Cupra is an option.

I know you have discounted Mazda, have you seen the new CX30? Sat in the GT sport model today the cabin is something else. CX5 also is due a refresh in March.

You should get a Peugeot 3008 GT for around 30k, fully loaded, 8 speed auto, leather etc, 2ltr 180 HDi engine.
Lots of room, if you need more then the 5008 would suit, probably have to drop to GT Line spec but they are good bits of kit smile

Mazda does seem to be on a roll lately.
A slightly used DS7 seems like an good deal.

Ford Edge?
I had one for two years in the US and it was surprisingly good, very comfy, very spacious, does everything you'd want and not many about in the UK.
A mate of mine had the same dilemma to you and I mentioned the Edge, he initially wasn't keen, but once he had a look around one and test drove it he thought it was great, his is a Sport model.

Thanks all. Some there i hadn't considered so will take another look

I think the Edge has been discontinued over here but could be some used ones at a decent price.

I just need to see if i can get a good PCP deal on a 6 - 12 months old one really
